Great location, close to downtown highlands. Very clean, comfortable beds. Was disappointed we couldn’t use the fire place during our summer stay.

We are glad you enjoyed your visit to Treetop Cottage. We apologize for any disappointment in the inability to use the fireplace. We did not realize that guests would want to use the fireplace during the warm summer months. The fireplace is operational during the spring, fall and winter months.

We had a wonderful stay at the Treetop Cottage. The location was perfect — close to both downtown Highlands and Cashiers. The house was very comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. We loved spending time outside on the deck and screened-in porch. Thank you for a great stay!

My wife, daughter, and I stayed at the Treetop Cottage for my daughter’s spring break. We immediately felt at home upon our arrival and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Cottage is charming and the interior was very well done. We loved the back deck and spent a lot of time out there looking for white squirrels. The beds were extremely comfortable and overall the Cottage was exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. We found it very easy to get around with the drive to Main Street just 5 to 7 minutes away. Upon booking, communications with Laura was quick and consistent throughout and we could not recommend the Treetop Cottage anymore.Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your Treetop Cottage and we definitely will look to return!

Amazing experience

This condo was perfect! Very well appointed and perfect location. We had everything we could possibly need (and then some)! The fireplace was cozy on long, rainy days and the space was perfect for a family. I cannot say enough positive things about this place; we would definitely stay here again!

Perfect!

Absolutely loved this home! It was clean, spacious, beautifully-decorated and comfortable. With no permanent residents in the home, it feels more like a huge hotel suite than and a vacation rental. The location is wonderful in a quiet neighborhood, very close to downtown Highlands. The back patio is very spacious and has both a covered and uncovered area. Plenty of room to enjoy. Would love to stay here again!

Our stay at this beautiful Highlands home was absolutely wonderful! The house was gorgeous, spotless, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, there were plenty of fresh linens and towels, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The WiFi was fast and reliable, which was perfect since we had to work during our stay. One of our favorite parts was the back porch. It was the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee and unwind with a glass of wine in the evening. The location was fantastic, just minutes from downtown Highlands, making it easy to enjoy shopping, restaurants, and everything the area has to offer while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. The host was amazing, friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. It was one of the best vacation rentals we’ve stayed in, and we’re already hoping to book it again next year. We highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly located place to stay in Highlands. The host pictures and representations of this home are spot on… the home may be even prettier in person. 1000 star rating!

Perfection

This was one of the best VRBO that I have ever stayed in. Everything was perfect! The VIEW was amazing!! Oh my!! The decor was elegant and the kitchen was fully stocked with any appliances, dishes or utensils that you could possibly want. Layout of the bedrooms and bathrooms were great! We loved the privacy as well - being on top of the mountain. Laura was so easy to communicate with as well. We had SUCH a great time and look forward to coming next year.

Beautiful place!

This was an absolutely beautiful place to stay! The view is exactly as it is pictured, and the condo is spacious , clean and quiet. It included all your basic amenities. Felt very secluded and private, yet located within mins of grocery store, restaurants and the scaly mountain screamer. Which was like a private roller coaster that you can control speed as you ride. My kids loved it! The only issue is you do have to go down 3 small flights of stairs, consisting of approximately 8 steps each to get in and out of the condo. And there were a few games, but nothing that really interested my kids. Ages 10 & 11. All things considered I would definitely go back here, I would just pack a lighter suitcase! …and a few of the kid’s favorite board games.
