Tampa is located in Florida, and if you're familiar with Florida's climate, Tampa will hold a few surprises for you. You can expect lows of 51 degrees Fahrenheit during the winter months, and highs of 90 degrees Fahrenheit during the summer months. Tampa experiences much more than the average amount of rainfall when compared with the rest of the United States, with 51 inches per year as compared to the national average of 38 inches, and if Tampa starts experiencing snow, something has gone terribly, terribly wrong. The best times to visit Tampa, in terms of comfort rating, are April and November.
