About this property

Come enjoy this whimsical, multi-themed 5bd/2ba lakefront cottage located on the west side of beautiful Round Lake, a 194 acre all sport freshwater lake in the heart of Sister Lakes, Michigan. Round Lake boasts great bass and muskie fishing. Cottage rental includes private sandy beach, pier, firepit, gas grill, paddle boats, kayaks, Tiki Barge and Pontoon Boat. Cruise on over to the Driftwood Ice Cream shop, Dockside Dan's Bar and Grill or the famous Sandbar in the middle of the lake, where you can drop anchor to relax and party.

The Whimsical Cottage sleeps 12 guests with two master bedrooms, one on the main floor and one on the second floor. There are three additional upstairs bedrooms with one full/twin bunk bed, a triple bunk bed and two twin beds. There is a portable crib and pack n play, high chairs, toys available on request.

The main floor is open concept with brand new appliances, a fully stocked kitchen, Keurig Coffee Bar and double dining/game tables that seat 12. The living room has a 55" smart tv which opens to the 12" x 25' deck and boasts beautiful sunrise Round Lake views.

Just steps beyond the spacious front deck you will find your private sandy beach with a private pier leading to the Pontoon Boat and Tiki Barge. The shallow beachfront is perfect for kids! Splash around the pier or paddle out to the swim platform with 2 paddle boats, 3 kayaks, float toys and life jackets. Or cast a line off the dock for the best bass fishing around (catch and release please)!

After a day of water fun, roast marshmallows and relax around the large natural fire pit. Enjoy fun times all day and night on the Included custom 24' lighted Tiki Party Barge anchored at the end of the pier. Unique to the Whimsical Cottage on Round Lake.

Peaceful and Relaxing

The cottage is very clean and inviting! The outside amenities were nice, clean sandy beach, paddle boats, the Tiki Bar is a permanently docked pontoon, was great to hang out on! The back deck is gorgeous, great for enjoying the lake view, just no shade until later in the afternoon. Cottage is on west side of lake so you have the sunrise and lots of sun all day, we used the pontoon for coffee in the morning for some shade! Everyone on the lake was very friendly. Fishing from the pier was good, my husband caught some bass, just don’t forget the bug spray at night! Despite a few minor glitches - would definitely stay again!
