The place was stocked with everything we could need. Pool and Foosball table was great for entertainment, along with games, books, etc.Very nice and quiet area. Close to many points of interest.
This property is beautiful and well cared for. You can tell a lot of thought and consideration went into this property. We traveled with dogs and were so happy to see couch covers and a little doggy cabinet. The space was clean with all the dishes you could need.
The whole cabin was clean and everything you needed just like home. The only thing I can say is that it has electric heaters in the basement and it was cold. But other than that I would recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to Relax, Release, and Restart.
Very nice cabin up in the mountains! The fireplace does not work and we couldn't figure out the surround sound. Not a lot of instructions! No garbage pickup, have to take to the dump...Pool table and foosball table big TVs throughout. Loved our stay at Grin and Bear It!
This place deserves a million stars. It was a great location, more wildlife, and the host was very helpful and communicated very well with you. I would definitely want to stay there a million times over. It was like a home away from home. I just can't thank the host enough for letting us stay there.
Easy to book, super clean, room to spread out, so many extras that make it home away from home. The front porch view is stunning especially at sunset. Murphy isn’t too far to eat out or go shopping in the cute downtown. Harrahs casino as well, if you like that. We stay in cabins a few times a year in north Georgia and this one is terrific!
I would recommend this cabin to anyone! Great location tucked away but close enough to shopping and dining. This cabin is very well taken care of! Plenty of linens and stocked kitchen I.e, appliances, utensils dishes etc. Patty has a great information book to look through and she was also very responsive to any questions we did have. We can’t wait to rent this cabin again next year!
Booking and check in were a breeze. They have everything you need cooking wise. There's lots of games and activities if you feel like hanging out at the cabin. We also enjoyed hiking Panther Mountain and Kayaking around the Mountain Top Marina.
Lacking for nothing! This house was spotless, well stocked, and close to everything. It was one of the best VRBO vacation homes we've been to.
Hosts are thoughtful and attentive and responsive to our needs.
The pool table was a big hit, wrap around porch was great for eating outdoors, and we never turned on the tv once!
Can't wait to go again!
Very quiet and peaceful area and an easy drive to towns in NC and TN with charming downtowns, great restaurants and tasty breweries. Property owners are very welcoming and take a lot of pride in the upkeep and cleanliness of this home. Our senior dog really enjoyed taking in the nature smells and walking laps on the walk-around deck while we enjoyed all of the shade and nature it also had to offer. I’d highly recommend this place if you want to have some of the most peaceful nights sleep you’ve ever had.
Our stay here was so great! It was a very relaxing extended weekend for us on our anniversary. The weather was perfect and the area was secluded. Our dogs loved the property as well (especially the couch ). The cabin had everything you needed, including couch covers so that your pets can cuddle with you. There was plenty of kitchenware, we even brought stuff to make our own homemade pizza! We also enjoyed the fire pit and appreciated the wood that was already cut and ready to use! The bed wasn’t the most comfortable but we still slept just fine. We absolutely had a blast playing foosball and pool! All of the restaurants are about 20-25 mins away and there’s lots of pretty hiking in the area that we were able to enjoy. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend staying!
I have stayed in several cabins up there in the Cherokee County area over the past 10 years and this is the best cabin that I have ever stayed in. It is so clean, the site through the lot across the roadway is just beautiful it's stunning. It's a beautiful cabin to stay in. I will definitely be staying there again and I recommend this to anybody that's up there in the area. it's very affordable, it's just beautiful and the road is really good to get up there. Thank you so much for sharing your cabin.

It was very nice and quiet but well pump went out so we didn’t have water for a day, but that was not the hosts fault just one of those things that happens

Thank you for your patience and understanding we hope you enjoyed all the other amenities and opportunities during your stay.
Tom and Patty's place is great for families looking to get away and experience nature. There are ample hiking activities nearby, the Murphy Riverwalk is excellent. The cabin is exactly as advertised, there are plenty of amenities throughout which make the stay more enjoyable. There was an extra propane tank for the grill which was awesome, so we didn't have to worry how much gas was there. The cookware was excellent quality, the foostball table and the pool table were great for the kids. Fishing was a short walk away, all in all it was a wonderful visit. I'd highly recommend visiting their cabin.
Clean, everything we needed, all the comforts of home!
This rental property was beautiful! The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, and pans, and even a crockpot. The only thing missing were some baking dishes, casserole, and like. We love the view of the mountains from the front porch. It was a little ways from downtown Murphy so you want to make sure you have everything you need from the grocery store before you head home up the mountain. We highly recommend this rental!!
We looked at so many properties and chose this one. It was our best guess that became our absolute winning choice. Our grandkids told us over & over how much BETTER this year was than any ‘cabin’ they’d visited before. The space was spacious! The games were enjoyable! The kitchen was equipped. The sleep space restful. The porch was awesome. The firepit was great (S’mores galore!) Whenever you choose a place, we hope that you find an owner/presenter that doesn’t oversell so much you’re underwhelmed upon arrival. Rather, that you arrive at this place and instantly know you’ve made the right choice plus!! We ended our stay with a formal dinner in the cathedral ceiling dining room!
Everything was so clean and pretty. Since we stayed over Christmas there were cute decorations and lights put up for us. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. We arrived after dark so the road was a bit treacherous! It was fine during the day. We had great internet, but absolutely no cell phone service with our carrier. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!
The cabin was so cute, well stocked and clean. We had some hiccups, as any vacation does, but Patty was super helpful and available when we called. Would definitely stay again!
This cabin is very clean, well stocked and cute. There were only 4 of us, but there is sleeping room for several people. I thought that it would be closer to the town of Murphy (the only reason that was bad is that my parents enjoy the casino).
