Our husbands surprised us for our 41st anniversaries with a tri to Hocking Hills. The log house was beautiful with a beautiful deck, a hot tub, and it is situated in the woods where we could hear and watch nature as we spied our coffee each morning!

Hunter's Retreat was a delightful place to stay. Very clean and well appointed with amenities. Centrally located to all the Hocking Hills attractions. The hot tub was a definite bonus after long days of hiking! Checking in and out was easy and the host was great with quick responses to our questions before our arrival.

Plenty of space for our family, great location to hiking and attractions! Hot tub was not recently cleaned.Kitchen was lacking some standard utensils- pasta utensil, serving spoons. Starlink internet seems to be shared with other cabins and went in/out Overall a great getaway!

We loved the views by the creek, the front porch was so inviting and perfect. It was close to the hiking trail we wanted to hike (smith creek to Ruby falls) easy and close drive into Helen. The only thing is , we got there in the dark and it was hard to find our cabin . But Don, the owner met us there and was texting us with how to find it. Communication with the owner was very good. All was great and we enjoyed our fall girls trip in November.

The cabin was great We had everything we needed. The location is close to the park. I would caution that the dirt road to the cabin would be difficult for vehicles that don't have high clearance.
