Magnolia House just underwent an extensive remodel and is completely updated with all the things to love! The brick, ranch-style home sits on a private 2-acre lot located a near numerous regional attractions. This cozy home is perfect for napping, cooking, reading your favorite book, or watching a ballgame. The large covered patio is designed for outdoor living with a TV, grill, dining area, and fire pit. Some of our nearby attractions include; Mammoth Cave National Park, Barren River Lake, Kenny’s Farmhouse Cheese, and the National Corvette Museum/Motor Sports Park, and more. This property is perfect for recreational boaters and fishermen with ample parking and turnarounds. There are many wonderful restaurants in the area that offer dine-in and take-out. A list of recommendations will be provided via a digital guidebook upon booking.

Great home away from home!

Home was the perfect place to stay and plenty of room to park a boat. The location was just minutes from the lake and minutes from town. Spotless clean, updated everything, and great AC on several 90 plus degree days.

The Magnolia House is a beautiful place to stay. Perfect location for peace and quiet as well as tons of attractions. The house is equipped with a beautiful kitchen, lovelt bed rooms and a cozy outdoor sitting area. Both my parents and children loved the stay.

I feel that this is such a gathering house with how the kitchen and living room flow and especially the outdoor space. We ended both nights with a fire and just relaxed. The house is equally distanced between Glasgow and Barren River State Park. I would definitely stay again

This was the perfect set up for our family lake weekend stay. Shelby was so accommodating and quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. The house was clean and inviting. Will definitely book again if we come back.

Beautiful country home

The home was exactly as advertised and pictured. I was very impressed with the kitchen and the bathrooms especially. There were a few minor issues but Shelby quickly and thoroughly addressed them in a very satisfactory manner. I would highly recommend this property to everyone interested.

Nice and Cozy place to stay

If you are looking for a vacation home around Lake City, KY then this is a great place to stay. Rooms were clean and nicely maintained. It has some fantastic view from the front porch. The host Shelby was very accommodative and responsive. She used to provide responses to all the queries quickly. I would definitely recommend to stay in this place.

KITCHEN:
The kitchen is stocked with all the basic necessities for meal preparation. Cooking oils and a variety of spices are provided. Enjoy your meals at the large island, small dining table, or outdoor dining tables. There is a microwave, oven, stove, fridge, dishwasher, and coffee pot that does single cups or pots.

LIVING ROOM:
Relax on the sofa after a long day of hiking or boating while watching a movie on the Roku TV’s (bring your passwords for streaming channels). Board games are provided for family entertainment.

PRIMARY SUITE:
This is a large bedroom with a king bed, and bedside tables, and storage shelves. It is connected to the primary bathroom and laundry area.

PRIMARY BATHROOM:
This bathroom includes a tub/shower and double vanity with mirrors/outlets. It is connected to primary closet/laundry area.

BUNK ROOM:
Enjoy the twin over queen bunk bedroom with memory foam mattresses. This room features a large walk-in closet and desk with USB and regular plug ins.

HALL BEDROOM:
This bedroom offers a queen size bed, with a night stand, and 2 large closets. It is located across the hall from the hall bathroom.

HALL BATHROOM:
This is not directly connected to either bedroom and is located in the hallway. It offers a tub/shower, vanity with mirror/outlets.

OUTDOOR SPACE:
A large fully-covered patio spans spans the backside of the home. It has a large grass yard where you’ll be sure to spend most of your time weather permitting. The patio is the perfect place to catch sunrises/sunsets. The outdoor string lights set the tone for leisurely dinner, game nights, or just relaxing around the fire pit.

You will have access to the entire home and property minus basement and storage shed.
