Apartment Tirolia – A Hidden Gem at the Wilder Kaiser

The cosy, peaceful and light-filled Apartment Tirolia is located on the first floor of a Tyrolean chalet in the Gasteig district of Kirchdorf in Tirol. It was newly renovated at the end of 2019 and furnished with great attention to detail. Here, you can truly relax and enjoy the warm alpine atmosphere.

The apartment offers two bedrooms with five to six sleeping spaces (max. 5 adults), a spacious living area with kitchen and dining area, a separate shower room and toilet, and a large south-/west-facing balcony with beautiful views of the mountains and the Wilder Kaiser. One underground parking space is already included in the price. A ski room is also available, and guests may use the washing machine, dryer and table tennis table in the shared area of the building. Bicycles can also be stored safely.

The premium apartment is furnished with high-quality wooden and upholstered furniture. The first bedroom has a comfortable box-spring bed (160 x 200 cm) and a large wardrobe. The second bedroom has a double bed (160 x 200 cm) and a bunk bed (140 x 200 cm) made of genuine Swiss pine wood, creating a particularly natural and cosy sleeping atmosphere. Shelves provide additional storage space. A baby cot can be provided on request. The bedrooms face a small stream, so with the window open you can hear the gentle sound of the water. In summer, the stream also provides pleasantly cool air.

The entrance area offers plenty of space for jackets, shoes and other holiday essentials. Blackout pleated blinds and insect screens provide additional comfort.

The kitchen is very well equipped and leaves little to be desired. It includes a stove, oven, extractor hood, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, Nespresso machine, milk frother, baking utensils and many other practical kitchen items. This makes the apartment ideal for guests who enjoy self-catering during their holiday.

In the cosy living area, the comfortable couch invites you to relax and unwind. The satellite flat-screen TV can be turned and used from both the living area and the dining area. Free Wi-Fi is, of course, available.

Special attention has been paid to making the apartment as allergy-friendly as possible. Unnecessary dust collectors such as curtains and carpets have deliberately been avoided. For guests with house dust mite allergies, various protective covers are available, including mite encasings for the bunk bed, mite covers for pillows and, on request, additional protective covers for duvets. The location in Gasteig combines peace and nature with many leisure opportunities nearby. There are also several restaurants in Gasteig and the surrounding area, ranging from more refined dining to cosy, more casual places to eat. In winter, the ski bus stop is only about 200 m away; the free winter sports bus takes guests conveniently to the lifts in Kirchdorf and St. Johann. A cross-country ski trail runs behind the house, and the natural toboggan run at Kramerhof is also within easy walking distance.

In summer, you can start hikes, walks and excursions into the surrounding mountains directly from the accommodation. The Okto hiking bus stops only about 200 m away and offers a convenient connection to hiking destinations in the region during the summer season. Depending on the season, this service is free for guests. St. Johann in Tirol is about 5 km away, and Kitzbühel can be reached in around 14 km. Swimming lakes, ski areas and family-friendly adventure mountains such as Hexenwasser are also wonderful excursion destinations nearby.

With the St. Johann in Tirol guest card, guests can benefit from various seasonal advantages. In the summers of 2026, 2027 and 2028, one ascent and descent with the Harschbichlbahn cable car in St. Johann is included for stays of three nights or more. Please note that seasonal services, timetables and included offers are determined by the tourism association and may change.

During the summer season, swimming pool admission is usually included for our guests — an extra that we provide exclusively for our guests. Depending on the current seasonal agreement, this applies either to the Kaiserquell outdoor pool in Kirchdorf or to the Panorama Badewelt St. Johann with indoor and outdoor pools. The exact arrangement is confirmed shortly before the start of the summer season. We are also happy to provide pool towels, mountain towels and picnic blankets.

In both summer and winter, the region around the Kitzbühel Alps offers many opportunities for relaxation, sports and excursions. Whether hiking, swimming, skiing, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, cycling or simply relaxing — Apartment Tirolia is an ideal starting point for a relaxing holiday at the Wilder Kaiser.
