Enjoy your visit to the beautiful Hudson River Valley in this updated two bdrm, second-floor suite in a charming historic home. This suite is one of two in the house. The building is located in a cute and quiet residential neighborhood, steps away from the Hudson River itself. Nearby downtown Newburgh’s Liberty St., there is plenty to do, see, and eat in the nearby shops, cafes, and restaurants.

Feel at home right away in this 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom suite, complete with everything you will need for your stay! Enjoy natural light inside this fun and sunny space, or step out onto the balcony to take in the surrounding views of the Hudson River!

The space includes 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed, one of which includes a dedicated workspace, 1 bathroom with a shower and tub, a fully-equipped kitchen with cooking and baking essentials, a coffee bar, living room with TV, and separate dining room to enjoy delicious foods or can also be used as a workspace.

The space is the entire 2nd floor of a two-family home. The front entry hallway is shared with a private door to the Suite. The Suite also has a separate and private back door from the deck.

Please enjoy the outdoor space our property has to offer! Relax on your private deck or have fun outside in the large shared backyard on a warm, sunny day! There is also a shared fire pit available for guests to use in the backyard.

Self-check-in at 4pm. The Suite is accessible with a keypad. I have prepared a Guidebook with recommendations for nearby attractions, instructions, suite rules, and other important details for guests. Free parking for one vehicle is available at the property, as well as street parking.

In the Suite, you will also find a full-length mirror, A/C, and ceiling fans in both bedrooms, phone charging cables, luggage racks, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash & lotion, and liquid hand soap provided for your stay. We’ve also included coffee, tea, creamer, oil, salt, pepper, and baking essentials. We truly want you to feel comfortable and cozy.

While we do not have baby equipment onsite, we are able to arrange for it to be rented to our guests for a fee. Please contact the host to learn more.

Water Street (one block behind the property) is the primary road that takes you to Newburgh’s waterfront for premier dining. At certain times traffic noise may be heard. It’s not intrusive, but may be noticeable depending upon the time of day. If you are an extra light sleeper, complimentary earplugs are available in the bathroom.

This place really is a gem! It was very clean and beautifully furnished. There was plenty of blankets, throws and towels. Parking and entry were easy. Location was perfect for us. We visited Benmarl Winery, Angry Orchards, City Winery and Beacon. And, our host, Tarah, was very responsive.

We absolutely loved this apartment! The host has provided so many thoughtful details to make everything comfortable and accessible. Very comfortable beds, nice bedding, very attractive decor throughout. The location is great with wonderful views of the river. The outside deck was the perfect spot to enjoy the views. Many great Newburgh restaurants are a three minute drive away and street parking is plentiful. We really enjoyed our stay and would hope to stay here again.

This property is gorgeous. Great view of the river from many points in the unit. Walking distance to the waterfront with many restaurant options. This 2 BR 1 bath top floor apartment was perfect for our group (2 couple). We did find that that the list of “restrictions” were pretty extensive but since the property had multiple levels, they were necessary. Please follow the house rules:)

Clean and Comfortable

My husband, daughter, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this property. Check-in was super easy, it was a pleasure communicating with Tahra. Check-out instructions were also very clear. The property itself was spotless and very well maintained. It has all the character of an old home with beautiful and functional updates. Everything we went looking for was provided from kitchen utensils to a sound machine, extra cozy blankets to the game of Sorry! (which was a big hit with our six-year-old!). The beds were incredibly comfortable and there was ample closet and drawer space. We were very pleased with the location which was centrally located to our planned activities - Legoland, Dia: Beacon, and Storm King Mountain. We also discovered some unexpected gems in Jones Farm (Cornwall), Blu Pointe (5 minutes from the house), and Newburgh Vintage Emporium (also 5 minutes from the house). 10/10 highly recommend!

Sunrise Over the Hudson

Climbing the stairs after our six-hour drive... bright turquoise cushions echoing the sky and siding... an entry mat welcoming, “YAY ! You’re HERE ! humorously greeted our arrival ! We felt embraced as we walked into our weekend pied-à-terre in our disordered world... and reached for a coffee mug – with a reminder of difficult times past --- Newburgh – incorporated 1865 We put down and rested our luggage of the prior week... month... in sparkly, clean, colorful, well-appointed, top quality surroundings all brightness... and we rested on a rich green sofa, reflecting the shade and coolness of grass beneath our feet Your suggestion to watch the sun prepare to rise over the Hudson is a winner... the sunrise itself took only a second... yet the orange ribbon reflecting and changing colorful hues across the horizon... remains an indelible slow-motion image as it illuminated both shore and river... We shared and reminisced days past, while celebrating two birthdays this year her 40th and my 80th... Daughter and Dad, of course with Mom... how often does THAT happen in today’s world ? enjoyed visits to Storm King sculpture, Dia Beacon, et al All the while... “catching up” on recent experiences as well as confident futures... a wonderful togetherness, indeed ! thank you for this wonderful weekend retreat . . .

My daughter and I used this apartment as a landing place to stay while we visited the nearby towns of woodstock and Beacon. Its a nice neighborhood and convenient to different sightseeing trips that we had planned. Apartment was immaculate, beds were comfortable , and it had a nice little kitchen and a sweet view of the river.. we would definitely stay there again. The host was very responsive to any questions and was able to accommodate a few requests that we had! Definitely recommend this place and would return if we came back to this area

My husband, Donnell, and I are parents to three kids (25, 17 and 14). I know, they aren't really kids...I should say young adults! We both have worked in NYC for over 20 years. Donnell in telecom engineering and I have been in the legal industry. About 15 years ago, I found my passion in interior decorating and design, and Donnell found his in construction. We love making older homes shine again! We have renovated over 20 homes in NY and NJ. We endeavored to create a space that makes you want to rush back and relax at the end of a long day out and about in the Hudson Valley. We pride ourselves on delivering a 5 STAR STAY to our guests and turning one-time guests into Returning Guests!
