Cottage in Prime ~In-Town~ Location

Eight Gardner Street, located around the corner from Nantucket's historic Main Street, is an antique building completely renovated on the interior in 1992 to create a spacious, well decorated, two bedroom, two bath home with outdoor shower and brick patio. The house has central air conditioning and off street parking for one vehicle. In the summer season we are a Sunday to Sunday rental.
This Greek Revival style building has an over-sized antique front door and large 20 pane windows which are reminders of the building's past. Inside this lovely home are modern conveniences for comfortable living. Come stay at Eight Gardner Street for a relaxing vacation that can be enjoyed in the quiet of a private Nantucket home, just a short stroll to the activity of downtown Nantucket. The cottage was perfect for our family of 4. The two beds & full bath in the loft were just right for our teen & tween to share. The house was conveniently located to town and the bike path. Everything inside & out was clean and neat. Anything we needed was at our disposal (towels, paper products, cleaner, etc). We used the charcoal grill 3-4 times and the outdoor seating. The outdoor shower was key to keeping the space clean & sand free. And tge parking space was perfect for our SUV (which we only used to explore the beaches on the other side of the island).

Fabulous Nantucket Cottage

This cottage was everything we were looking for and more. The location in town is exceptional. It is clean, and well stocked. It was a great getaway for 2 couples. The Private outdoor area surrounded By privet hedges with table and chairs for 4 (oh a a grill) was great for al fresco dining. We hiked, fished, beached and of course enjoyed the great food and shopping. This cottage is fabulous! Highly recommend.

Great house!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely house. The owners were very responsive and attentive. Fantastic location close to town and great beaches. The house is very well kept and clean. The house layout is lovey and worked really well for our family. Both bedrooms were great. We enjoyed our stay and would look forward to another visit!

Still dreaming about our week in Nantucket!!

We have visited Nantucket for years, but this was the first time staying in town. House is in a great location and just a short walk to Main Street and a street over from the Cisco bike path. The owners went above and beyond to make sure the house was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need Durring your stay. House was clean like a hotel but had the comforts of home, We can’t wait to return next year!!

Wonderful home away from home

We had a fantastic time on Nantucket staying in your lovely house. It was perfect for our family of 4. Our 2 teens loved the upstairs bedroom and having that space to themselves. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is great in order to walk to town, and convenient to the bike paths.

This unique property is perfect for a small family or group. It has a fascinating history which makes one feel part of the old island. Renters for one week

The property was very clean and well maintained. It was perfect for two couples, we each had a room and bathroom on a separate floor and the kitchen was updated and well stocked. We loved having a small patio to sit on in the backyard and we were only about 5 minutes from town with all the restaurants and shopping! We walked everywhere and rode bikes to the beaches. The house was air conditioned and very comfortable to sleep in. It was far enough from town to avoid a lot of noise but close enough to all the activities. We loved our stay at 8 Gardner Street and would highly recommend it. The owners were very responsive to our needs and emails and phone calls. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Wonderful Rental

Stayed here during the annual Daffodil Festival. The house is clean,bright with lots of light, and attractively decorated. New kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. Very quiet yet close to town for shopping, sight seeing and restaurants. Owners made sure everything was perfect for our weekend get away.

Great Vacation

This spacious Nantucket cottage is perfect for two couples. Loved the yard for cocktails and grilling. House is so convenient to town and bike trails. House is furnished with everything.
