Great place near Joshua Tree!

We stayed here for a few nights and it was everything we needed. Very close to the park so easy to get in and out early in the morning. Spent our afternoons relaxing in the pool!

Wonderful stay

We loved Alex's beautiful home. Everything was just like the photos, or even better! The house was clean and had everything we needed, and the memory foam beds were amazingly comfortable. Alex was very responsive and helpful and his hospitality made us feel like valued guests. The house is just a few minutes drive from the north entrance to Joshua Tree. I will definitely be back to stay here again!

More like calming coyote!

We had a lovely stay at the cool coyote for our first trip to Joshua Tree! The home was clean, cozy, calming, and yes cool too. We loved the proximity to the park entrance and the updated and tastefully decorated home. We hope to be back and spend more time in Joshua tree, and of course stay at Alex’s place! Thank you!

Lovely house

Very quiet area, and spotlessly clean interior - in fact the cleaner was finishing right up till check in. However we couldn't find a sheet pan until the 2nd night when we happened to open the dishwasher and found a full (dirty) load of dishes. Big yard, no cacti (which we wanted because of the dogs) however, the above ground pool has been removed leaving the wooden steps - we had to keep the dogs from going underneath and from messing with the construction materials in the side yard.

Perfect Stay

After a small amount of trepidation approaching Cool Coyote on a modest street on the outskirts of town, we were delighted to find an attractive, well-kept little house, with a cozy, clean, and nicely decorated interior. The kitchen was well-stocked and having coffee available for us was very nice (loved the retro red fridge and microwave!). The beds were vey comfortable and the bedrooms were a reasonable size. Although we didn't get to use it (it was cold and very windy during our stay) the above-ground pool was nice, and the beach towels and sunscreen provided was a very nice touch. The fire pit was inviting but, unfortunately, it was too windy while we were there! The location is perfect for a visit to Joshua Tree National Park, just minutes from the north entrance. We would highly recommend Cool Coyote and Alex who was a very responsive host!

Great Peaceful Stay

We had a great relaxed family time at Alex's cozy home. The home is super clean and has everything we need! Had a great time by the fire pit in the backyard roasting marshmallows and making S'mores! The home is super close to Joshua Tree and our kids had a great time climbing rocks! Definitely will stay here again! And Alex was very responsive in term of communication:-)
