Great getaway

Awesome deck view..alot of pollen, but that's mother nature..upstairs tv a little outdated .Other than that it was a extremely great experience, love the rooms ,hot tub and close proximity to the river for tubing. Clean also. Would rent again, Thanks for the hospitality. Tim (Charlotte N.C.)

Nice house. Check in process was more difficult than other companies I have rented from. House was not ready at check in, had to wait. Towels and sheets were still damp when we checked in.

Reviewer Comments: Property was as described with one glaring exception : the primary bedroom and toilet (on the main level) have no physical separation. That is there is no wall or door between the bedroom and the bathroom. The website photos do a good job of not showing that fact. The TVs are not high definition and the one in the lower level living area only has a black and white picture with occasional stripes of color. Quite surprising when quality TVs are so inexpensive these days. We were cooped up in the house because of rain, and watching football on TV was one option for entertainment.The location is quiet and serene. Due to weather we could not get out and enjoy the river, but in the summer it must be amazingly refreshing.

Pretty good.

My boyfriend and I stayed here with 3 other couples. It was nice we each had our own floor to retreat to, as there is a bedroom on each level. There was ample space inside and out for 6 people and two dogs. The furniture was comfortable, hot tub was wonderful, and the views were great. My only complaints were the basement t was extremely musty/moldy smelling. Worse than a lot of basements I’ve been in. We couldn’t really stay down there as it threw everyone’s allergies into overdrive. I’d also recommend bringing a large cooler with ice the help the older fridge keep your food cold.

Girls trip

Took my 2 daughters and my mother to the cabin for some girl time. It was easy to find. It was clean. This is a cabin that is pet approved. Be prepared if you have allergies. That did impact our stay. You are not close to much of anything so get your food before you go. Ice maker does not work and no trays so bring ice. Loved the cabin over all. Took a whil to warm up. Hot tub was lovely. It looks secluded but you do have neighbors close so if anything went wrong you are not alone Deer are everywhere. You can hear them running past during the night Views are spectacular.

It was a get away

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Over all it was a get away. We did have issues with wasps I ended up killing atleast 6-10 of them. The bedding was nasty everyone found something in the bedding the main level had blood on the sheets and pillow cases, upstairs had brown stains and as for down stairs it had long black hairs. We went and got our own bedding and probably will forever take my own after this experience. I wouldn’t say I would never go back but I know what I would take to change my experience for next time!

Terrible experience

1- it had not been cleaned prior to our visit. Fresh towels, but dirty sheets, countertops, floors, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, window blinds so old they had fallen apart and were lying on the window sill (prior to our arrival). 2- one Air-conditioning unit barely worked, the refrigerator didn't get cold enough for fresh foods for the entire visit and the freezer didn't freeze until the last 12 hours. 3- I vacuumed and wiped everything down on my own in order to stay there. 4- I called and discussed with mgmt co, and they brought clean sheets on the last night we were there. We had been sleeping on top of the bedspreads using our own covers. I am doubtful that I will ever use VRBO again. I only had 2 full days with my family and this was just a nightmare nobody needs! I am requesting a refund, a discount, no cleaning fee (since the cleaner was me)..something!! Its just disappointing, to put it mildly. I literally had to cancel having other family over for dinner due to the condition of this house... bummer!

However, the cabin was cleaned prior to your arrival and checked by an inspector. Your stay was over the fourth of July holiday, and we did contact appliance companies in the area, but they were unable to get to the cabin during your stay. The refrigerator has been checked and is now in good working condition. There are mini split units throughout the property, these are not window AC units. We will be discussing a refund with you privately. A review of the cleaning reports from before your arrival and after will be completed to ensure that everything is in working order for our next guests.
