The Quack Shack

Get cozy on the shores of beautiful Lake Murray. This air conditioned 2BR/1BA cabin is nestled in a quiet cove with stunning waterfront views. The master bedroom has a queen bed, while the second has a twin over full bunk bed. The living room also has a queen size sleeper sofa. This little cabin will comfortably sleep up to 6 guests. Spend your days floating around in the walk out swimming area, or get out on the water in one of our kayaks or paddle board. With a bait shop and boat launch just minutes away, you are welcome to tie up your power boat on the new dock. And the fun doesn't stop when the sun goes down. Spend your evenings grilling a fresh caught dinner, and create even more memories sitting around the fire pit. Don't forget the s'mores! If you're looking for a more catered experience, there are several restaurants nearby. Whether you travel by car or boat, excellent local cuisine is just minutes away. Welcome to the Quack Shack. Make yourselves at home and enjoy!

I love this place! We had my 18 month old granddaughter with us. This place was kid friendly. We enjoyed morning kayaking on the water and playing in the lake. We would love to stay again in this nice location.

Second stay here. It is beautiful on the lake. Clean home, pet friendly, equipped, peaceful. Our two dogs loved every minute as well. The host tries to provide everything you could possibly need for both needs and fun. It is relaxing, beautiful, and if you need anything the host is always available. Thank you again for a great stay!

Communication and access to the home was great. Perfect place on the lake for two, a puppy and 5 year old grandson. The house had everything needed and grocery stored just 15min away. Our grandson caught his first fish right from the dock!

We enjoyed the “shack life” at the lake while our hardwood floors were being refinished.Old style lakefront house with great deck and gazebo. Quiet and peaceful. Would stay there again.

Great host, very responsive and easy to communicate with. The cabin was cozy and charming with a beautiful lake view. We were in town for our son’s college fishing tournament, and the location was perfect, close to the park and exactly what we needed. Would definitely stay again!

A few bumps in the road, but the Host communication was really good with immediate solutions. Pet-friendly including bowls and treats! What a great area! Loved being able to kayak right from the property. Plenty of space to park. Super close to Dreher Island State Park where you can fish, rent a kayak or paddle board, or hike with a small entrance fee (3/adult, 1/child).
