Beautiful House for Large Groups

The house was very well stocked for large groups. There is plenty to do with the pool, hot tubs, arcade games and theater room. The mountain views were beautiful. The bedrooms were comfortable and clean. We all had an amazing time!

Lack of supplies -- when compared to other places we have rented in the past -- one roll of cheap toilet paper per bathroom, per stay. One SKINNY roll of cheap paper towel per sink in the kitchen. No hand soap at kitchen sinks, no salt pepper, so aluminum foil, and no saran wrap. The chef that accompanied us shared that he had NEVER experienced such a beautiful kitchen that was so sparse, when it came to essentials.

We do want to clarify that—prior to your arrival—we sent an email outlining exactly what is included with every stay. As noted there, we provide a starter set of supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, and trash bags. These are intended to help guests get settled, and additional items are the guest’s responsibility, which is standard for vacation rentals in our area. Items such as hand soap for the kitchen, spices, food items, foil, and plastic wrap are not stocked for guest safety and sanitation reasons. We understand that different properties may offer different amenities, but we do our best to set clear expectations in advance so there are no surprises. We genuinely appreciate your comments and will continue evaluating our communication to ensure policies are always clear and helpful. Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope your group had a wonderful time in the Smokies.
