Oceanside Charm

Everything about property was great. However, listing advertised elevator but was locked. Thomas Rentals advised us it was for owner use only. We were compensated by them for listing being wrong.

Very nice house

The house was beautiful! What our group enjoyed most was that each room had its own bathroom. The kitchen was open and spacious and there was plenty of room for everyone. This home needs an option to heat the pool. We were not able to enjoy the pool at all during our stay. We even asked if we could pay additional fees but were told no

Property Not As Listed

First let me say that the property location is excellent and the house has good bones; however, several things attributed to the 3 star review. First, at check-in the house was not properly cleaned: dirt and food on counter, dirt on floors, urine around toilet seats, house smelled of smoke etc. There are also no cleaning supplies in house. After a trip to the store to buy a swifter, Clorox wipes, Lysol spray, candles, soap etc We had to spend the first several hours of trip cleaning and sanitizing the house to feel comfortable. The property manager was notified and responded quickly by providing a cleaning fee refund which was appreciated. Second, there was no internet during the stay. Again company was notified and sent someone out for inspection but it could not be fixed during the trip—no internet network available entire stay. Third, elevator advertised on listing but again it was not available for renters. So that option should be removed from property listing. Lastly, the property has bare minimum for kitchen supplies and household items so you need to take everything you may need. As an example there is no pot holders to remove items from the oven. Also when you have a large house it would be helpful to have multiple dishes/glasses/etc. and there were only 3 wine glasses in the entire property. Additionally something dropped in the pool and there is no pool skimmer to get it out—had to find a neighbor and ask to borrow theirs momentarily. There were many instances and issues as described above which contributed to score. So good bones, good location, NOT clean, and doesn’t provide all options that are advertised.
