Nice and cozy:) I spend two nights with my family here and must say that the neighborhood is safe and quiet. My only issue was the way I was rushed out of the house, not sure if it was the owner himself but there was a man outside as we were leaving and didn’t seem too friendly… my dad is an elderly man and he takes a minute to get ready so i apologize for that. Other than that everything was fine

Jose mentioned he felt rushed, but I first knocked at 11:15am, after the 11:00am checkout time had already passed. At that point, nothing had been packed. I introduced myself as Geoff, the owner, and had been waiting outside with the cleaners so we could begin preparing the home for the next guests. We then waited an additional 10 minutes before knocking again, as we needed to proceed with turnover. Also, trash day is Thursday, and there are clearly posted signs by the cans. A reminder was sent the day before, but it was not followed. As a result, I had to make a special trip to the dump because the trash was overloaded and not placed at the curb for pickup.

We adored the home, room for everyone, perfect amenities and a lovely outdoor space. We loved the simplicity of the hot tub after a day of adventure. Close to so many things to do and see, close to Monterey and San Francisco and everything in between. The manager offered many tips for good food and we teued most of them and were not disappointed! We stayed here for a family reunion and really enjoyed this house! The big sectional in the living room was comfortable and fit a lot of people. We loved the hot tub and fire pit. They have a lot of beach gear that you can borrow including boogie boards. Only minor issue was a dripping shower faucet. We loved how close the house was to Natural bridges and the walking path along West Cliff Drive!

This home is spacious as a 4 bedroom 3 bath and comfortable with a nice hot tub and fire pit. Pets allowed which is rare for a 4 bedroom home in the area and a short walk to Natural Bridges State Beach (no dogs on beach). It is a bit worn and could use some furniture replacements, paint and a repair or two.

I grew up in Cupertino and moved to Santa Cruz in 1994 after earning a business degree from Western State Colorado University. Santa Cruz drew me in with its world-class surfing, mountain biking, vibrant live music scene, and the beauty of the beach and redwoods. I spent 15 wonderful years living in a beach rental, but eventually, I craved a more rural lifestyle. That led me to Bonny Doon, just 15 minutes away in the Santa Cruz Mountains, where I settled on some acreage with my family.

Enjoy scenic hikes and bike rides through Wilder Ranch’s stunning nature trails. In the fall, thousands of Monarch butterflies fill the air, with some even fluttering into the backyard.

Conveniently close to Highway 1 North, the area offers breathtaking coastal drives, pristine beaches, and dramatic oceanfront cliffs. Plus, it's within walking or biking distance to the vibrant Swift St. Courtyard, home to world-class wineries, top-notch breweries, and exceptional dining. This lively yet sophisticated area provides a safer and more upscale alternative to downtown Santa Cruz.

Unlike many beachside neighborhoods, this area is open and uncongested—you can park anytime without the hassle of searching for a spot. The gas grill and fire pit are directly connected to the house gas line, so you’ll never run out of fuel. Inside, the kitchen is equipped for any culinary needs, featuring a massive Sub-Zero refrigerator—perfect for stocking up on Costco runs—and a high-performance Viking range and oven.

For guests, I provide more beach gear, sports equipment, and baby essentials than most other rentals. Families will appreciate the two high chairs, Bob stroller, car seats, pack-and-play, children’s bikes with helmets, booster seat, baby gates, and a child bike carrier. For beach days, there are surfboards, bodyboards, bikes, coolers, beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, a beach wagon, and more!
