Cozy Private home

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway in the Adirondack’s. Perfect for one or two couple or small family as well. Pet Friendly for a well behaved dog or cat.Nestled at the base of Hackensack Mountain. The trailhead is a 1 minute up the road. Lake George is 8 minutes away. Many beaches within minutes for swimming and picnics. Cronin’s golf course and nature trails close by too. Get away for a quick trip and forget it all.
The space
The house sets back off the road with a flat open yard for outside fun. The home is a bungalow style home with great character and design. It’s very clean and comfortable. It had a 3 season enclosed porch and a great open patio for relaxing and enjoying an open fire.
Guest access
The entire home is yours to enjoy. Plenty of off road parking. There is even space for your boat if your hauling it to use for a boating experience on the many beautiful lakes in our area.
Other things to note
Melt away into a much needed escape. My house takes you into a time of peace. Live in the moment and let go of all your stresses. Wake up to the sounds of nature that surround you.

I expect the house to be left as you found it. All items utilized returned to their proper place. Please collect all dirty towels and start the washing machine.
Collect all household garbage and put in the black garbage receptacle outside to the right of the house. It is located to the right as you exit the porch just at the tree line.
Leave the door unlocked and place the key on the kitchen island. Message me when you are leaving so that I may notify my cleaning staff.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Cozy home in town and nature

This home was comfortable and very easy access to town and hiking. The area is beautiful and great nearby restaurants and markets. It was also nice to be near Lake George but away from the tourist crowds.

Wonderful location !

We had a great time! Property was in a great location, 15 min to Lake George Village. Quiet, clean, and cozy. Great communication with host. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely property in good location

Characterful, clean and well-equipped property in good location to explore area around Lake George. We stayed here for 4 days with our 2 daughters (17 and 19). Many great outdoor activities - 10 min from white water rafting on Hudson (wild waters outdoor centre), lovely walks in the area and close to lake George. Delicious pizza restaurant in walking distance. Also in a couple of minutes walking - Bandstand Brew Works with live music.

Perfect Home

This house was a perfect choice for our trip. From first pulling in the driveway and then walking in the door every nook and corner just got better and better. I hope we will be back again, very nice home!

Peace of mind

If you want to have peace of mind and relaxation and enjoy nature and outdoors this is the place,I recommend it 100%.the house was very clean it had everything that we needed and Boddi was very helpful!!Thank you so much for the hospitality!!

Very comfortable

My husband and I stayed at this property for 4 nights/5 days for our 30th anniversary trip. We had a great stay. The house was extremely clean, very comfortable and exactly as described. Very cozy house to stay in. The firepit was a plus because we love to sit by a fire, and it was nice to sit outside with the patio furniture. The host, Bobbi, made it very easy to check in and out and was quick to communicate with us when we had any questions. She was very nice. The house is in a great location as well, it was close to enough to do all the things we wanted to, yet in a quiet neighborhood so at the end of the day we could relax by the fire. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Cute cottage, attentive host

Rooms were interesting and cosy and the property had a well stocked kitchen with useful extras. Easy drive to Lake George. When there was an unusual weather event, the host was super-responsive and rapidly mitigated effects. Our only less than positive observation was that the mattresses were older and not particularly comfortable, and the California King was tight in the master making it difficult to access, but when we advised the host, she seemed ready and willing to change them. Overall fantastic stay in a delightful cottage with attentive host.
