Secluded cabin located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia.— 5 MILES —above Alpine Helen. Chimney Shadows Cabin is named for Chimney Mountain that can be seen from the cabin's back porch during the winter months. This Log cabin has a secluded Hot Tub on a screened back porch and a gas log fireplace in the living area.

Enjoy the mountain Laurel in the Spring or the colorful foliage in the fall from the covered front porch rocking chairs. You may like visiting in the Winter in hopes of getting snowed in while being nice and cozy in front of your gas-log fireplace or you can enjoy the outdoor hot tub anytime of year. The Chattahoochee River is only 5 miles away and everyone knows to 'shoot the hooch' in the summer. Summer is also a great time to visit Unicoi State Park and Lake. Unicoi Lake and Anna Ruby Falls are only 1.5 to 2 miles from this cozy cabin.

Alpine Helen is the tourist hot spot here in the Mountains of North GA. Visit us in the fall for the worlds longest running Oktoberfest. Helen, GA is centrally located to Hiawasee, Blairsville, Dahlonega, Ellijay, Sautee Nacoochee, Lake Burton, Lake Vogel and Brasstown Bald, Georgia's highest Mountain. North GA is also known for it's Great Wines. Visit the Cottage, Three Sisters, Frog Town, Wolf Mountain, and Habersham Wineries, along the GA Wine Highway while in the area.

North Georgia also has abundant wildlife, many hiking trails, lakes, rivers, and waterfalls. Great cabin and great location. We enjoyed coffee on the front porch in the rocking chairs. Hot tub was very relaxing. The bathroom is dark and could use some better lighting and the driveway is washed out making it difficult to get up. Otherwise, a great, clean and comfy place to stay.

We truly enjoyed our stay in this lovely cabin! It was beautiful, spacious & felt like home! For us, it was close enough to Helen, but far enough away to not deal with the holiday traffic. Beautiful waterfalls & hiking trails were only a few miles away. We had a slight hiccup with the AC, but Sadie was on it and had it fixed promptly.

This cabin was and had everything we were looking for on our weekend getaway to the mountains. It was very clean and well stocked with all the necessities. The hot tub was a bonus. The host, Sadie, was very accommodating and responsive.

The cabin was perfect! I was more impressed once we arrived. It was so nice and clean. Has everything needed, and the location is wonderful. Secluded and private enough but convenient to town with a beautiful short drive. We will definitely try to book this cabin again for future Helen trips!

Lovely cabin in the woods.

We stayed 2 nights while attending an event at a nearby venue. The cabin is lovely. It is well-maintained, nicely furnished and exceptionally clean. The host responded promptly to our questions. We would definitely stay there again.

Awesome getaway

The property was very neat, tidy, clean. Was equipped with everything you need from the bathroom to the kitchen. All the essentials that Jacuzzi was great when really enjoyed ourselves. Getaway weekend

Renting this cabin was a breeze. The communication was exceptional and the cabin was beautiful. The cabin was well stocked with items needed for a comfortable stay. There were instructions visible to operate the fireplace and hot tub. We had no problem finding the cabin as instructions were clear and concise. I would definitely stay here again in the future.
