Nice property horrible management communication

To me it’s the little things. The place is cute, a converted garage nicely done. Quiet with lovely grounds. The TV didn’t work, emailed and texted the contact regarding this, still haven’t heard anything. Went to make coffee, it didn’t work, emailed regarding that, still haven’t heard back. Plus a lot of black bugs in the kitchen area and a bowed floor in the bathroom that made for the door to get stuck when opening. I would have been ok with it all if my emails and texts weren’t ignored. Again, it’s the little things

Cute, but misses the mark

Very creative use of space. Amazed that they were able to create 5 distinct rentals on one property. We stayed in Lemon Grove, which was likely a garage converted into two separate units. Appreciated that each unit had its own private outdoor space, but it can get quite noisy if the people in the other unit sharing the common wall talk loudly. Check in and out was easy. AC was powerful. Unfortunately, cleanliness was a real issue. The couch had dirty paw prints on it and ants came in under the door. Sadly, the hot tub, which was the primary reason I booked, smelled like a wet t-shirt, had cloudy water/brown rings on the edges, and no chlorine tablets in the dispenser when we first arrived. I sent photos of this and Truman was kind enough to send someone the next day to shock the tub. Considering we were only there for two nights, it was a real disappointment that it could not be used half of the time. The unit itself has some issues including bathroom trim not completely painted by the sink and warping of the flooring in the bathroom making opening and closing the bathroom door difficult. At almost $600/night after fees, I do not feel it met the mark in terms of value.
