House is spacious. No bathtub though if you have little ones. Good location. Host is quick to respond. Stayed there a week and enjoyed the house.

We were in town for a wedding and the home served us and our children well. The door was still locked when we arrived but a quick call to the owner and he remotely unlocked it right away. The home is in good condition and we were comfortable there. We were there during a heatwave and the AC worked great. The home is on a busy street but there is a round-a-bout in front of it so cars aren’t going very fast when they go by. Restaurants and shopping is close so that was a bonus. We had to make a few runs to Walmart and it’s was only a mile or so away.

The house was clean. It is a unique set up for sure. If I had any questions or concerns they were answered quickly. It is an older home but has some character. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

Overall good

We had some communication issues when checking in but those got resolved. The freezer didn’t work but there was a mini fridge and freezer. The view for fireworks was great and the beds were comfortable.

Host cancelled day off

Worst case scenario. Planned family celebration of daughter’s college graduation with grandma and out of state family. Host messages that heater broke, freezing temperatures, stated space heaters for each room was the best he could do….when I mentioned that being a fire hazard he then cancelled reservation. Spent 3 hours on the phone withVRBo and scrambling to find day off accommodations for all family members…Truly a nightmare to have your plans collapse day off when I reserved 2 months in advance. Host was not caring nor supportive about the incredible stress and turmoil this created for me.

Hello Raquel, Effectively heater did break and we discovered it during the cleaning prior to your stayed anf informed you immediately, we went and got a tech out that informed us we needed a completely new unit, which took a week and a half to obtain and install, so we obtained space heaters for your 3 night stay visit, which you declined, heaters were set up and we’re maintaining a safe temperature. You decided it it didn’t not fit your needs and the other alternative we had was a refund given the fact that we literally couldn’t do anything, saying we are not caring or supporting is a misrepresentation of everything we tried to do with the resources and time we had coupled with your needs and demands. I do however apologize that was the experience you had. And hope your trip was salvaged in anyway.
