The house was clean and well appointed. The bedding and beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were nice with great amenities. It is an older house that has been reconfigured so it has a unique floor plan and an old house smell at the entrance. The backyard was huge and quiet with a privacy fence, fire pit and deck area . My dog loved running all around.

A Hidden Gem

What a wonderful surprise this little hidden gem was in the heart of Atchison Kansas!Everything about this home has been updated. There is still an old-world charm, but everything looks glistening white and brand new. The owner, Paul, was so easy to work with and fulfilled all of his promises! We would certainly stay here again.

Wonderful place to stay!

Super nicely rehabbed home with all the amenities you want or need. Great living space and private large yard is awesome if your bringing kids along or even just sitting out on their upscale deck area and yard games. This was our 2nd stay here and Our host Paul is always very easy to reach should you have any questions at all. I’m sure we’ll be back to visit family there again!

Weekend stay

This was a lovely home. The big screen TV was wonderful and having a main floor king bed was a big plus. We wished we had Kleenex and some real wine glasses. The bedding on the bed felt like camping bedding. I feel like the biggest impact for improvement would be new bedding on the king bed. Other than that we enjoyed it!
