We promise, we're almost as fun as a barrel of monkeys and twice as helpful. So go ahead, reach out—we're standing by like superheroes in disguise (cape not included). This home is designed all around the Benedictine College theme and we tried not to be ultra religious in nature however with the college being Catholic there are a few Catholic items. We did try to limit this to College Theme more than Christian or Catholic. This may be good for some and bad for some and hopefully we hit this just right. We have taken care to let you know that the floor are NOT PERFECT. No the house is not falling down, and yes the foundation was fixed however this old house had to have some big time fixes :). We have had many many people work to make this imperfectly perfect house a good lil VRBO and hope that it will be a quality place for your discerning $.

We had such a charming stay at this quaint little house! It’s an older home, but that just adds to its cozy character. The space had everything we needed for a comfortable visit, from the thoughtful touches to the well-stocked essentials. If you’re looking for a place that feels welcoming, homey, and full of charm—this is it!
It was my single worse renting experience ever... Definitely never using this app to find lodging again. The place looked like a used hotel brothel. Dirty towels everywhere and hair in both sinks. Blood on beds and not clean at all. I was mortified and embarrassed. My family went with me to check in and it was terrible. Check was awful. They send me the entry code over and hour after my check in time and gave me attitude when I initially called about how dirty the property was. . Never again. I'd rather sleep on a street. Ruined my visit home after 12 years away in the air force

Absolutely, we felt awful as our cleaners failed us. I and my family expressed this many times over. We then cleaned it and offered the entirety of the stay for free but never heard a reply. I tried by app and by cell phone. I tried any way to tell you to please stay for free because I was so mortified this happened and had never happened. We went straight over to clean right away… it was so sad because the cleaners had 2 days to clean it! I had many words with them. It was a change of crews and communication failure 😞. I admitted this blatantly and refunded immediately! I truly wanted you to come and stay for free and have a good stay. Please contact me in the future for a better experience… this is not how we do business.
Originally, this stay was for 2 couples staying the Memorial Day weekend in Atchison. The photos online are very good, almost to the point where I was thinking there is no way the house is going to look this good when we get there. Spoiler alert, it looks better. The check in process was a breeze with the code provided in a way that was super easy to remember and use. Possibly the easiest check in process I have ever had. The stairs to get up to the house are pretty steep so maybe a watch out if you are elderly or struggle to get up steps but they were new steps and very sturdy. This led to a nice front porch that looked out across the neighborhood. The bedrooms are spaced away from each other for privacy. The bed we slept in was super comfortable. All along the walls are maps of the city with ideas of what to do. There was a document by the tv in the living room that had menus for many of the local restaurants which was super helpful. We also got recommendations from the host and made sure we checked them all out. The kitchen had everything we needed including a Keurig which my spouse took advantage of. We did not use it but there was grill out back and plenty of spices in the Kitchen. On a return trip to Atchison, I would love to use this space again and have a cookout. The backyard is fenced in for privacy and has a pretty nice deck that has a tent over it. All told, this was super reasonably priced and a fantastic experience. Highly Recommend.

I enjoy making a great home for you to visit and making sure we are truly building an experience. I work in hospitals around the country and have my family in town available should there be something needed however, our goal is that you would have whatever is needed from start to finish so you have your privacy and time to do what you need while you are in town.
