Clean and comfortable apartment that worked well as our home base for a few days. We appreciated being able to do some laundry there during our travels.
Convenient location to downtown and nearby shopping center with grocery, gas, and restaurants. Easy communication and check in process. Parking included. Comfy beds.

There was quite a bit of road noise, but overall the property was fine.
The property was as described in the listing and was clean and comfortable. Check in very fast with key code. Our unit was on the second floor. It was very convenient to have a washer/dryer, coffee pods and shampoo/soap and laundry detergent available. The unit was within 10-15 minutes of tourist attractions. We would stay there again.
Upon arriving at the property, I immediately felt unsafe with the undesirable neighborhood. Wrecked and abandoned vehicles and an RV parked in front of the property. In retrospect, I realized there are no outside pictures of this property on the vrbo listing and now I know why. When entering inside the property, I realized it also was not like the pictures on the listing portrayed. Dark and dingy with sub-standard bedding and curtains. I texted the property host on my check-in day to advise I would not be staying there due to the unsatisfactory conditions. I texted her again on my check-out date to make sure she got the first text and she said she did not. I said that other vrbo hosts typically check in with guests during their stay but she didn’t (since she says she thought I was staying there). Smart door lock so she knew I never returned to the property after my initial visit. Not my typical vrbo experience. I thought vrbo vetted these oroperties better.
We arrived late after a long flight from Virginia. Beds were comfy, and the unit was all we needed for a quick overnight stay. There was a welcome sign in the kitchen with our name on it along with snacks and coffee pods — we loved the personal touch. The only negative was that I it not stocked with fluffy bath towels or more than a few sheets of paper towels — we made do, but travelers staying longer than we did probably should bring their own. This was likely relayed in the listing, but we were coming in after 16 hours of travel and did not have bath towels with us. Also, not a negative but a comment, I don’t think it has cable TV. I had to learn how to do YouTube TV — again, not a big deal, and most travelers these days probably are more tech savvy than me. Location wise it was perfect. I ran in the surrounding neighborhoods before breakfast, and I could have gone forever. The area was safe and flat with sidewalks and bike trails in every direction.
We came to Fairbanks to visit our son. Not only is the area beautiful with lots to see and do but our accommodations were perfect. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.
I spent one night during a very smoky, hot weekend. The VRBO was a refuge from the unpleasant weather. It was clean, well-appointed and quiet. The neighborhood is located away from downtown and I would categorize it as mixed but I had no problems and have no problems recommending it to families or singles.
We easily found the property and easily accessed it based on directions provided by host. Clean and comfortable. Excellent communication with host. Highly recommend.
