Great stay and a great place to bring our dogs. Loved being able to let them run around on the property. Cabin was as advertised and in a great location just north of town with easy access to amenities. Jacob was very welcoming and responsive to any questions we had. Will for sure try to stay here in the future!
Our host Jacob was great. He made sure our stay was without any problems.

You two were great guests. Very personable and respectful! It was a pleasure chatting with you over the phone and I’m glad you had such a memorable stay! Any time you’re back up north I would love to host you again.
Jacob was extremely helpful providing recommendations for things to do, places to visit and sightseeing adventures! He truly wanted to make sure our first visit to Alaska was memorable and fun! What a great host to have! Cabin is as described, cozy, comfortable and close to down town Fairbanks. Thank you so much, Jacob! We truly enjoyed ourselves!

About the host
Hosted by Jacob Tuholski
I moved to Ketchikan Alaska 5 years ago to work for the Great Alaskan Lumberjack show. Now I spend my time charter fishing in the summertime and tug boating in the winter time. I also spend time volunteering at our local fire department and fishing or hunting when I can get away. My goal as a host is to give guests the best possible experience and to make sure your trip is unforgettable for years to come. It brings me so much joy when guests rave about how much fun they had at the cabin just as I’ve had over the years.
Why they chose this property
This neighborhood is quiet, spacious and in the perfect location to see the northern lights. As long as there is minimal cloud coverage you should be able to see the lights any night from November to April by just looking out the window of the living room.
What makes this property unique
My property is unique due to its close proximity to town while being far enough away to avoid light pollution and ice fog. The wood fire stove makes for an authentic Alaskan experience along with Alaskan decor found exclusively in Alaska. I ensure you that you won’t find a more Alaskan experience at this price point anywhere in Fairbanks!
