The property location was great. The views were amazing. We had a few hiccups, but nothing that the company wouldn’t come and address immediately overall highly recommend.

The house was perfect for our large group! Loved the 4 king beds & all the private baths, but also all the bath options. Worked so well for us to learn to ski for the weekend.

We stayed at this home for a recent trip, and overall, it’s in a beautiful location with a lovely yard and plenty of space in the bedrooms — we truly appreciated that. It was a comfortable stay in many ways, and communication with the hosts was prompt and courteous. That said, there were some maintenance and safety concerns that unfortunately weren’t addressed, even after multiple assurances they would be. Before arriving, I was told the driveway and walkway would be cleared due to traveling with elderly guests, but it wasn’t done, and I ended up shoveling, salting, and deicing it myself. There was also a broken hot water faucet in the upstairs shower, which made it unusable, and another shower that had only a trickle of water. Additionally, the dishwasher came loose from under the counter. While the hosts responded quickly to messages, none of these issues were ever resolved during our stay. They did however refund one nights stay afterwards
We were called by the property manager the day of our stay and told the property had an issue with the septic system and we could not stay. They were able to re locate us into a different property that turned out ok, but wasn’t exactly what we had hoped for.

While we appreciate you working with our team with the septic issues, we also don't think it is very fair to leave a 1 star review for a home you didn't stay in. Our team did reach out as soon as the problem was known and that the septic wouldn't be fixed before your stay to move you to a comparable home. Mountain Gem is a great home that guests love, and we hope you'll come back and stay in it. Thank you - BRMR
I had high hopes for this home. It looked beautiful in the pictures. Carpets & sofa could use a good cleaning. There were stains on the carpet. Some of the binds did not work properly and missing the piece to control them. One of the bedrooms' tv turned on when you turned the light on and the remote didn't work. Lights out in the ceiling fan in 1 bedroom. The shower light was broken in 1 bathroom. It "sleeps" 15, but there are not enough dishes for that many people. We got a call on the 3rd day there from the property management team. They said that they got a call from the owner that a neighbor had said that we almost hit her dog the day before3. We were told that if we did not respect the neighborhood, we would be evicted. When I called to talk to someone about this, the story changed. It was now that we tried to run over the neighbor and then flipped them off. I asked what time this was because we were all at a wedding the day before. I was told that it was this current day. I asked what kind of car it was. Was told it was a grey BWM. We had not been out that day and none of us had a BMW or a grey car. i asked why they thought it was us and they did not have an answer. This is a neighborhood and could have been anyone. No one ever apologize for accusing us of something that we could not have done. The location is great and very close to town.

Thank you for your feedback! We are sharing your maintenance issues with our team so that this can be addressed. We did get a report on 1/19 from the homeowner that neighbors had contacted them to report that a car staying at this residence had almost hit their dog and had then flipped them off, and our team did reach out with a reminder that this is a residential neighborhood and all guests are expected to be respectful. Thank you - BRMR
