We loved our little getaway at Summit Lake! While we were just there for one night, it was a highlight of our coastal roadtrip. The dock was so peaceful, the house was tidy, and the beds were comfy. Recommended for anyone eager to get away from it all, with the comforts of home.

We had a wonderful time here. The cabin was very clean and well stocked, host was very responsive and kind. It's a quiet area of the lake with plenty to keep kiddos busy - clear water and walk-in shores for swimming, caught lots of fish right off the dock just using worms, kayaks to paddle, and lots of nature to watch.

Wonderful spot!

This is a sweet home with an amazing loft area for families and an extraordinary back deck with lake dock that allowed us to engage with the lake. Appreciated being able to use the fire pit and the kayaks. Will stay again!

We had a wonderful time relaxing, fishing, kayaking, and swimming. The deck was a great place to spend most of our time. Appreciate Molly’s communication. There are a lot of stairs, fine for most people but something to be aware of for those with knee problems. Place was as described and would stay again!

The cabin was truly "hidden" and a total "gem". Molly, the host, was on top of everything. There are enough supplies at the house for any season on the lake. The cozy feel really allowed me to disconnect in a way that haven't been able for some time. What stood out most however, was that the weather was unseasonably chaotic. Rainy, snowy, and sunny, all on the same day. But no matter what the lake remained calm and flat.I look forward to my next stay, or the day I buy a neighboring property :)

Time at the lake

After long days of training seminars, it was wonderful to come back to the lake and relax on the deck with a fire. Home was well stock with everything. Host was quick to respond when we had a question. pleasa

Tranquility

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this property. The location of the cabin is on the lake is amazing. Lake Summit was tranquil. Molly provided kayaks and fishing poles that were a great perk. The fire pit in the early mornings and late evenings was a really nice complimented to the cabin. It was the right size to accommodate my family of three adults, two children and our fur baby. Molly was very receptive and attentive as well, which made our stay relaxing and stress free.

Very nice place in a beautiful location!

This lake house had beautiful views, was very roomy and comfortable and well supplied with comforts of home! Molly, the host had great communication through the whole process. Only downside was that the water pressure was poor and not very hot for showers. Other than that this is a great place to stay with a family and would be perfect for summer vacations, to enjoy the outside deck area and all the fun of being right on the lake.

Great location

we had a wonderful time celebrating with family the downfall it does sleep 10 but to find out our grandson was actually sleeping on a box spring and not a twin mattress was very disheartening since he wouldn’t stay at the lake house with us because it hurt his back so bad. when we got there, whoever her cleaners did not really clean the house so we ended up trying to make sure the house was cleaner than expected. They need additional garbage cans because the garbage were almost full when we got there. a lot of glass on the beach. And. One of my granddaughters cut her foot on the glass. The owner was great in response, but there was no toilet paper no paper towels no cleaning products at all at the home.

Dear Sharilynn, Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent rental experience. We appreciate hearing from our renters and take feedback seriously. After carefully reviewing your review and comparing it to the communication prior to and during your stay, we would like to address some misunderstandings. We were disappointed to read your claim that we did not provide toilet paper, paper towels, and cleaning products, as this is untrue. Each bathroom is equipped with multiple rolls of toilet paper, as well as paper towel rolls in the kitchen. Additionally, we provide dish towels and under-sink supplies such as Dawn soap, etc. for convenience. Regarding the bed you mentioned, it is indeed a mattress, and we have multiple beds throughout the cabin with varying levels of firmness. We greatly value the commitment and thoroughness of our cleaning team, and have shared your feedback with them; including the issue of fingerprints on the sliders. Garbage & recycling bins are allocated by the county with convenient weekly pick-ups. The cleaners informed us that there was one bag of garbage from the previous renters in the bin at your arrival, so there should have been plenty of space during the stay. Ensuring transparency and providing upfront rental information is a top priority for us. We uphold the highest standards of honesty and integrity. We are saddened to hear about your granddaughter's foot injury. However, this is the first report we received regarding excessive glass on the beach. We are committed to maintaining a debris-free environment at the lake with the understanding that many people utilize the lake. We will do a thorough inspection of our beach area to ensure that renters can continue to enjoy it to the fullest. We want to emphasize that we went above and beyond in addressing all your inquiries prior to and during your stay at the cabin. We genuinely value our renters' satisfaction, so we appreciate the opportunity to clarify these matters. We sincerely wish you and your family all the best in your future endeavors. Best regards, Molly | Lake Place At Last

Great cabin for the holidays!

We had a lovely time at the cabin. The view of the lake was great. There was a ice/snow storm there upon our arrival and Maggie was extremely responsive to all the questions we had. She also made sure we had a snow shovel just in case. Primary bed room bed was very comfortable, lots of blankets and an amazing view to wake up to every day. One thing we wish it would have had was a dresser but we made due. The kitchen was well equipt for all of our holiday cooking and there were even a few serving platters. The main living area was a bit smaller then expected but worked fine for my sister, husband, dog and myself. I would say many more then that would have been a bit of a squeeze if it's raining and cold outside. The driveway is pretty steep, we have an SUV so didn't have any issues but something to note. Also, it is a bit hard to see in the night as the roads are not lit but not a huge issue. The decor was lovely, felt right at home, wifi was strong, there is a battery pack there as well Incase of a power outage which was nice since we were there during a storm. Maggie even added some holiday decorations to the cabin to make our stay that much better! I can see this being a great spot in the summer and hope to come back soon. Thank you again Maggie!!

Molly was wonderful. Very easy process checking in and out.The lake house was perfect for our family. One of the best vacations we’ve done yet. I’m so glad we booked with Molly.Coming from the East Coast I was nervous not knowing the area, but all the pictures are exactly as the house looks. She has everything you need there and more. The only comment I would make is for families that have larger or more children is that they DO have an outside shower in addition to the inside full bathroom. I’m not sure if I missed that in reading about the house but so happy to find it once we got there. It was essential for us as a larger family. We cannot wait to return in the future.

This place is perfect for spending time in, on, and by the water- the dock is great and the lake itself is lovely. The house is clean, with lots of windows looking onto the lake. It has has everything you need, and isn't fussy, which makes it perfect for a family get-together. There are sturdy sit-on kayaks, lifejackets, a nice outdoor shower, and a generous supply of towels. The deck is sunny in the morning and shady in the afternoon, and big enough to accommodate everybody hanging out outside all day. The trade off to this luxurious lake access is that the interior living space is not large. The kitchen is fairly well-supplied but awkward for more than one person to work at a time. These limitations were not a problem for our group of 4 adults and three kids, and this place was perfect for us.

Hi Sara, I'm so glad you all enjoyed your stay! Yes, the kitchen is quite "cozy," isn't it? :) Thankfully the large deck makes up for the not-so-large interior spaces. We would love to have you back!
