Amazing home!
This was an incredible experience for me and my family. The home is wonderful and beautiful. (Appreciated the tip on the step down into the living and dining rooms after coming in!!) Very spacious and comfortable home. Check-in process and communication with the hosts were extremely easy. Would stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone else!!

Needs work
It was basically good but we had problems with water in the showers. We didn't like seeing stains all over the carpets. I have never seen such an awful yard! Can't call it a lawn since there is no grass. Was sure disappointed in that. Think these improvements could be made and it will be a nicer place.

Great VRBO!!!
We loved everything about the house, from the openness of the home, to the community. The house was perfect for all 5 of us and we really enjoyed our stay. The only downside was I do wish there were bigger or more pots and pans for larger families, however the home is well stocked with essentials and the owners are very accommodating. Overall, a great location and a great stay.

Family Getaway
We were in town for a family wedding, and extended the stay for a family getaway. The house was the perfect base camp for us for the family get togethers and family time. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and we fixed many of our meals there. The back yard was inviting and comfortable and we really enjoyed the Blackstone grill, dining area on the deck, and the fire pit and seating. Overall, the house was well stocked with everything we needed and we would definitely stay there again.

**Review for Very Cozy VRBO in Colorado Springs**
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful home in Colorado Springs and couldn't be happier with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, providing clear communication and ensuring every detail was taken care of to make my stay comfortable. The home itself is stunning. Spacious, well-decorated, and immaculately clean, it offered all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, the bedrooms were cozy and inviting, and the living areas provided a perfect space to unwind after a day of exploring. Location-wise, this property couldn't be more convenient. It is situated in a quiet, safe neighborhood but still close to all the attractions Colorado Springs has to offer. Whether you're interested in hiking, dining, or shopping, everything is just a short drive away. Overall, I highly recommend this VRBO for anyone looking for a top-notch stay in Colorado Springs. The combination of great service, a beautiful home, and a perfect location made for an unforgettable trip. I will definitely be returning!

Family reunion and trip down memory lane
My husband and I (from Maine) and my parents (from Florida) joined up in this VRBO located 1/2 mile from my uncles home. It allowed for personal space as well as good proximity to family. Loved walking UP the neighborhood for morning exercise, pleasantly surprised by the green space trail at the top of the hill. Location allowed us to see some classic Colorado Springs sites, visit mom and dad's childhood homes and enjoy family. There was a lot of comfortable space in the home. We didn't partake of the yard due to lots of wind this week, but it would be fun to have a fire in the pit with a couple of cocktails.

Loved this VRBO! We cooked our own breakfasts in the well stocked kitchen before heading out for the day, and then enjoyed relaxing on the back deck in the evenings with its view out to the mountains. A beautiful home!

Exactly what we needed
The place was clean except for the carpet. Plenty of space and all that you need. Good location too. We had a hick-up with our check in but the owners were very quick to fix it. They were helpful. I do wish they had cable but we survived without.

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful! The house is well stocked with everything we could imagine. The hosts were readily accessible and genuinely cared about us having a great time at their property. As often as we come to the Springs it will be a house we will stay at again.

Colorado Springs
The property was well located to enjoy all the activities for Colorado Springs. The bedrooms were good sized and accommodated our family of 6 nicely. We hosted an evening dinner for 12 and the back yard was the perfect spot looking at Pikes Peak. The only downsides were no cable TV and there is a tricky entrance step that folks with limited mobility could trip over. Overall excellent condition, location and price point

Colorado Springs
The property was excellent for our vacation to Colorado Springs. While the house is located in the northeast section of the city it did not feel out the way to get to the sights in other parts of the city. There is a Walmart Neighborhood Market about 2 miles away and a King Soopers grocery store a little further. The beds were some of the best we've ever slept in a rental. Kitchen is well stocked with cream, sugar, assorted coffee and teas and spices, lots of pots and pans. There were 4 bedrooms, 3 clean bathrooms, big dining room table which we ate at every morning and most nights and seated our family of 7 easily. The neighborhood is quiet and well maintained. We walked the neighborhood several nights and saw deer just chilling in the yards. We drove to Garden of the Gods twice, Manitou Cliff Dwellings, rode the cog train. We visited Florissant Fossil Beds and Great Sand Dunes (not in the same day). We stopped in Woodland Park and visited the Dinosaur Museum which was a hit with everyone big and little. We walked Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs. Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is one of the best zoos we've been to. We fed giraffes and my 9 year old granddaughter fed an elephant, which was a highlight for her. Billy Sims Bbq was great. The Ultimate Buffet was huge and the food was tasty. Both of these restaurants are near the rental. Paravicini's Italian Bistro, in Old Colorado City, has an amazing rigatoni in cream sauce. All in all, the rental would be hard to beat.

About the host

We have shared several of our homes since 2016. We are grateful to share our home with you. We are both professional who enjoy working remotely and we set this home to accommodate our needs. We hope you will love it as much as we do. Be sure and step out on the back deck and listen to the wind blow, smell the great mountain air and watch the sun set.

Why they chose this property

We love this property for several reasons. 1) There is room for 4-8 people to come together, 2) break bread together and 3) then retreat to quiet restful places. We easily accommodate 4 single adults or 4 couples who want to make memories together. There is a large living area on the main level with mid century modern windows. There is a dining area on the main level that can hold seating for 10 or more, breakfast area holds 4-6. Open and bright kitchen, if anyone wants to cook. Main floor laundry. The deck off the kitchen has seating for 6 with lots of trees. The smells of the outdoors reminds you your in Colorado. There is a bedroom with a king size bedroom down 6 steps of the tri-level, a full bath and den with a fireplace! Up the stairs from the main levels are 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The rooms upstairs have a queen in the master, a queen in the middle room and a king size bed in the 4th bedroom. (two queen beds and 2 king beds total). The closets are equipped with hangers and baskets to unpack during your stay. The main bathroom is up the 6 stairs.

What makes this property unique

This home was a built as a custom home back in the day. The main bath reflects this uniqueness. The main bath shower features a significant step down hallmark that we had not experienced. Fair warning, its intended for folks who are used to bending their knees. See pictures or ask if you have a concern. My 87 year old mother shares our master bath when she comes to visit us. The best part of the home is all the windows, the views, the outdoors, the creature comforts inside, the fireplace on a snowy day the two separate work stations. It really is the best place to work from home! Enjoy all the foodie choices in the Springs. There are lots of great food choices around us. There is an enormous antique store less than 10 minutes from our home. The location has easy access to breweries, wineries, shopping, restaurants, hiking and only two hours to ski areas. We are located just 2 hours to Winter Park and an hour and a half to the Royal Gorge that offer white water rafting. You HAVE to see Garden of Gods while you are in the Springs!! Make a reservation at the Garden of Gods Resort around sunset. Our experience has always been super service and great food. Take the Cog Rail to Pikes Peak or drive to the top of Pikes Peak to see the the Summit House. Take a drive to Manitou Springs and experience wonderful restaurants and quaint shopping or hike the Manitou Incline. Drive to Woodland Park along HWY 24 or Pueblo along Hwy 115. A drive to Monument also has some fun shops. Drinks lots of water to stay healthy. If you experience a head ache or faster heart rate. Slow down and drink more water. Sometimes the 3rd day can be the worst. Better to rest for 20 minutes and hydrate then to find yourself in full on altitude sickness. Helpful homeowner hint: buy a case of water and take a bottle where ever you go. There are eco friendly cups with lids in the cabinets to the right of coffee pot. The filtered water from the refrigerator line seems pretty good.
