This little one-room cabin is ADORABLE! It has everything you need (and nothing you don't) for a quiet getaway to fill your soul. It has lots of light from large windows looking out at the woods and the Amnicon River valley, a propane fireplace is your main source of heat, and access to hiking trails and our large private sandy beach on the South Shore of Lake Superior. Cute little cabin

We really loved staying a couple nights in the cabin. Just enough amenities and it was super cozy. Highlights were the fire pit, big windows to watch the sunrise, and trails to the water. It's cold out but the outhouse has a heater that you can start from inside the cabin! We also stayed nice and toasty inside with the gas fireplace.

Simply the best.

Absolutely my favorite spot to get out of the city. Cutest little cabins with just the right amount of amenities. Incredibly accommodating and helpful hosts. HIGHLY recommend.

Glamming at its bet

This was a perfect spot for our small family. The cabin was everything we expected. The kitchenette was great. Half an hour from Duluth made it easy to go into town to explore. We also enjoyed the hiking. We’ll be back to enjoy the shoreline on Lake Superior next time.

Remote and solitude

The cabin was very nice but the temperature was in the high 80’s and the cabin was hot. Cooled down with open windows and ceiling fan. Nice hike to the Lake. The camp had a few church groups there with lots of children and young adults but they were far enough away to not bother us in the “Solitude” cabin.

Located at the end of a 5-mile-long dirt road, our rustic retreat center is the perfect blend of far enough away and easy enough to get to. We're just 30 minutes outside Duluth, so you can spend your days touristing if you'd like. We're also far enough from the highway that you won't be bothered by the sounds of the city or highway while you're here. It's quiet, it's peaceful, it's lovely.
