Lovely, well stocked house in a serene location with beautiful views of Old Rag. We needed a weekend getaway to relax and this was an ideal spot. The view from the back porch was beautiful both for the mountain and the deer and birds. A visit to Early Mountain Winery made this getaway complete!

We stayed at the property over Thanksgiving and the following weekend with the goal of making a traditional holiday meal, spending time with family, and visiting Shenandoah National Park. The house and location fit our plans perfectly, serving as an ideal midpoint for three different households. The home was comfortable, well-equipped, and in a great setting. Doug was easy to communicate with throughout. We would gladly stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Great house for visiting SNP

The house was great for our large party (ages 4-60s). It was in a great location for exploring SNP and visiting wineries and historical sites. There was plenty of room to spread out and we enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets from the covered back deck. Doug was great at communicating, would definitely recommend the home!
