This is an incredibly special, unique property with the most amazing views. The location is absolutely perfect if you are looking for either a retreat into nature or access to hiking. The tiny town of Twin Lakes has one tiny general store and a food truck, so I recommend bringing groceries (although the oven was on the fritz when we were there, which I know the owner is looking into). The home is gorgeous and also a bit quirky so if you’re easy going you’ll love it. There are a few things being renovated so it is likely to be even better in the future.

Was perfect for our needs and the view was outstanding. The deck was my favorite part. Definitely more of a cabin than a house. The property manager was responsive and helpful throughout the stay.

Why they chose this property

The house itself is an adventure. Hovering 15'+ over the land with enormous floor-to-ceiling windows surrounding the rooms virtually unobstructed views of the glacial lakes. Watch the storms roll in, the birds dive and dart, and the local animals roam below you, right from the couch. The roof top deck with 360 views is perfect for stargazing. The dining table can be your desk for remote working if you can take your eyes off the views. Or take your adventure right out the door, at end of the culdesac is a mild trail for hiking, mountain biking, xcountry or snow shoeing. And then of course, there are the lakes!

What makes this property unique

The location lends itself to a long needed getaway, or a place to remote work-hard and play-hard.
It captures the true essence of Colorado outdoor lifestyle, without the hustle and bustle of the over-crowded resorts. Only 2 1/2 hours from Denver, it's a perfect secret getaway. Shhhhhhh.
