The house was beautiful. It was very spacious and accommodated my family well. We had a great time. Wish the weather had been better, but we can’t control that.
Absolutely stunning house!! Great house for big groups!! We stayed in and made pizzas and pastas! 15 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge! We loved and enjoyed our stay!
The cabin was overall very nice and very well appointed. There was plenty of room and nice amenities. The only thing you cannot tell from the online pics is that the 4 bunk beds are in an open loft area over looking the main living room which was not ideal for the younger kids sleeping there in our group. The main reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the attention to detail was not there in this cabin. Examples are outdoor furniture was broken down in areas, one swing was not functioning, cushions were dirty enough we didn’t want to sit on them, grass needed to be cut, there were not enough towels, only 1 hair dryer for 9 people which was hard to find, and I found a cleaning tool left in 1 shower. The inside was very clean. If details like this don’t bother you, it is a beautiful cabin overall.
We chose this cabin because, based on the pictures, it’s exactly what our group was looking for. It did not disappoint!!! Our teenage kids enjoyed the loft area while the adults enjoyed all the other amenities! We were 9 people, so naturally, a big concern with cabins is hot water. Everyone showered normally and did not worry about having to time showers to save hot water. There was plenty for everyone. Trust me, this is a huge plus!!!! The kitchen has everything you need for home cooked meals and the grill was amazing. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace outside, the family fire pit under the lights and the hot tub as well. The day we arrived, it snowed enough to cover the roads for a period of about 24 hours. In that type of situation a 4WD/AWD vehicle would have come in handy. If snow is not in your forecast, any vehicle would make it up and down the roads. There are other cabins nearby, but still felt secluded. Owners are extremely helpful and respond quickly!! This cabin won’t disappoint. Would definitely stay here again.
