Great, quiet place for families

I stayed here with my wife and four young kids for a four-day exploration of Acadia. The house was wonderful, simple and exactly what we needed. I loved that Northeast Harbor was a lot quieter than Bar Harbor and yet still had a few good places to eat, get ice cream etc. highly recommend this spot for families.

Charming house - no a/c

This is a charming house in a quaint neighborhood. We enjoyed the short walk into town and the harbor. The house did not meet our cleanliness standards, particularly the bathroom. In addition, please be advised that this property is not air conditioned, although it was listed as an amenity when we booked. With 2 bedrooms being upstairs, they can get quite hot in July! Do not expect communication from the local property manager.

"The Cottage Life"

Nice, very stylish little cottage located out of the busyness of Bar Harbor. Close enough to the attractions. But away from the stress and noice of crowds. Great little get away. Three small issues: - Had to make a run to the store to pick up paper products (TP and paper towels for cleaning) - Had to take out the trash, but the can was full from the last visitor - The sofa looked cool, but not so comfortable
