About this property
Our West End Home
Let our New Orleans house be your home while you visit. Located in the West End section of the Lakeview neighborhood, this double is the perfect place for you and your fellow guests. The approximately 1,500 square feet of living area is plenty of room to kick up your feet and relax after a long day of exploring the city.
You’ll be staying on the B side of our New Orleans double. Outside the house, you’ll have a driveway supporting two cars plus additional street parking. Around the back of the home, you can sit outside on your private porch, let the kids run around the yard, and enjoy our backyard.
Inside, you’ll have a full kitchen for any of your cooking needs. Guests can sleep in the 2 bedrooms, plus the living room comes equipped with a queen-sized sofabed. The living room contains a new smart TV, and the house has Wi-Fi.
New Orleans is a big, small city… let that sink in. That means there is a ton to do, but nothing is ever far away. You are minutes from City Park, the French Quarter, and the Garden District. Are you looking for something off the beaten path? We will gladly send some recommendations your way.
We live on the A-side of the double, and unless you need us, we will give you your space. After all, this is your vacation; we don’t want to intrude. However, because we live on the other side of the double, we ask that you refrain from any parties, including but not limited to bachelor/bachelorette parties. If you’re looking to party, you might want to consider a different spot; West End is a family neighborhood.

We asked that you please avoid loud noises after 10 PM. This includes loud music, having the TV turned up to an excessive volume and loud shouting.
No parties. Honestly, it's the wrong neighborhood for parties. However, feel free to make this your comfy crash pad after partying in the city.
Please do not flush anything down the toilets besides toilet paper and natural waste. All feminine products, wipe, etc., need to go in the trash.

Had a great stay at this property ! Loved the neighborhood and found the house to be clean and comfortable with lots of little extras! Will definitely stay at this property again !
I stay here anytime I’m coming to town and it’s available . The house is cozy and comfortable ! There is a driveway with room for parking two cars and the neighborhood is quiet and safe .
This property is located in what is considered the safest area in New Orleans. It is close to a large park and easy access to walking trails. We enjoyed our visit and highly recommend this place.
We stayed here with our two young boys while visiting family in town. A great location in West End. Everything in the listing and pictures is accurate, so it gets 5 stars from me for that. Family-friendly housing in NOLA is rare, so we were quite happy to find this place. Thank you!
We will definitely book this location again on our return to New Orleans. The neighborhood is very quiet. The location offers plenty of space. Check-in was extremely easy and straight forward. Overall very pleased.
The home on Bellaire is cute and in a quiet neighborhood. We found it to be clean and comfortable for the whole family. Owners were attentive to our needs. Check in and check out we’re easy.
Location was awesome and this house was perfect for our stay. Exactly how it was described and even nicer in person. Plenty of room for the 5 adults and teenager that we had during our stay. Beautiful area and Beautiful house. We will be back if we return to New Orleans.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had 4 adults and everything went great for a family weekend. The location was perfect in the Lakeview/Metatie area. We will definitely consider again in the future.
We recently stayed at this home during our 2 day trip to New Orleans to visit the National WW2 Museum. This home was perfect for our needs. We loved the location as it was close to everything but not right in the heart of the city, which is what we were aiming for. The layout was perfect to accommodate our 3 person family and there was nothing that we could have asked for more. We would definitely stay here again if ever returning to New Orleans.
The location isn’t near much to do. But we were in for Jazzfest and this was exactly what we needed and for good value.

Thanks for staying with us. The location is an excellent spot for those attending JazzFest, but we have to disagree about not being near things.
As the listing suggests, we are in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood. Still, we are only 5-7 minutes from Bayou Oaks Golf course, 5-7 minutes from City Park, 3-5 minutes from the lakefront and all of their restaurants, including Felix's and Landry's, 4-6 minutes from the main stretch of Harrison Ave with the shops, cafes and restaurants, 10-12 minutes from Rock 'n Bowl, and 12-15 minutes from the French Quarter. The list could go on.
The place was nice, had everything i need it. We had our first girls trip, and this house was just perfect for me and my best friends. The house is clean, the neighborhood was just what i wanted, peaceful and calm 😊
The host always responded when i had a question ❤ Thank you for everything....
100% recommended 👌 👍 ❤

It's always disappointing to receive such a misguided review. As Phil probably noticed, we received a good bit of rain during his stay, which logically impacted our leaf pickup day. We are incredibly fortunate to have one of New Orleans' live oaks in front of our house. When it is windy and rainy, leaves tend to fall. Phil witnessed this phenomenon and still chose to comment on it. It might be best for Phil to avoid visiting New Orleans during the season when the oak trees start dropping their leaves in earnest.
Regarding the thermostat, it's strange that he mentioned it since it has no buttons. There is a single slider that he can move up to make the room warmer and down to make it cooler. Despite its simplicity, we include instructions in the house binder just to be extra safe. Phillip came over to ask for help instead of reading the instructions, and I was glad to assist him. His way of thanking me for my help was to talk about how he could not figure out the thermostat in his review.
I take it upon myself to ensure that every guest has the best possible stay. If you need anything, all you have to do is ask. It’s disappointing when someone chooses to write a review like this instead of seeking assistance. It's even more puzzling when the review comes from someone who would normally ask for help from time to time.
When traveling we always look for a home that we feel is a home away from home. This property met all our check marks. It was in a safe and great location. We did have a vehicle and expected to drive places. All the sites we wanted to see were within 15-20 min. It was even better that food shopping and many places to eat were much closer than we realized. It was a great long weekend getaway. I highly recommend this property if you are in the area and want a peaceful, safe place to enjoy,
When traveling to New Orleans alone , safety is a concern. I feel completely safe in this family neighborhood ! Love having the driveway to park in ! The house itself is super clean and the bed is very comfortable! I like the way the large kitchen opens up to the living room . The upstairs bath is is nicely decorated and stocked with lots of little extras! Overall, I find this house to be very cozy and inviting and will stay here again !
