Very close to Sand Stone Falls and the town of Hinton, A little difficult to find in the dark, but we were pleased with the cleanliness, extra towels, and bundle of wood for a fire. In general, a lovely stay!

Great for our family of 5! Our boys enjoyed collecting wood and using their fire-starting skills in the outside fire pit. We enjoyed being close to a couple hikes at the National Park.

This place is an absolute gem! Everything about it was great. Loved having the firepit, having coffee on the porch while listening to the birds and river, coffee pods provided, super comfy beds, etc. We only stayed one night but wished we would have been in the area longer to stay more nights. Thanks for sharing your property with us.

A couple of things. The WiFi was intermittent, and kept kicking us off. That was the biggest frustration. No soap in the bathroom shower, but I had brought some. Agree with others that it was hard to find in the dark, luckily, we scouted it out in the daylight. BUT all that said, it was lovely, very clean and cozy. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

It was a cute little place. Perfect for a family of 4. We had a great time. Enjoyed the fire pits and amenities. Couldn't get the internet to work but we visited instead and still had a marvelous time. We all slept like babies. I informed the Host of a few issues, but they are easy to fix. Hope to stay again in the future. Thank you Host for making this a great stay.

Beautiful home. Board Games were provided in the living room, which was a nice addition. Plenty of towels we're provided.Hosts were responsive to questions and any issues that arose.Would recommend and would enjoy staying here again!

The house was cozy and clean. But guests may book it under the impression that it is right on the New River, and that they can step outside and fish, float, or simply enjoy the river from their patio. If guests have that impression it's no doubt because that is exactly how VRBO describes the house. The truth is, you can see Mt. Rushmore from the house as clearly as you can see the New River. To get to the river, you would have to walk a few hundred yards down a gravel driveway, past several mobile homes and sheds and at least one junkpile, cross a two-lane road, hop a fence, and fight your way through heavy brush on the river bank. I chose this house over several others (and paid a premium for it) so my wife and I could "enjoy the river from our patio." We were duped by VRBO. Don't make the same mistake.

We come down to WV numerous times a year sometimes its a day visit sometimes more. We usually stay in a hotel but the room is always so cramped and very expensive. We live in Michigan but my fiances 3 boys live in Pipestem. This house was the perfect for us and my son also. They had tons of fun games to play with the kids. We will definitely be staying here again!

Loved staying at the house. It was clean and just as described in the listing. The national park had trails and sights a few miles from the house with Sandstone and Brooks Falls being close by as well as Big Branch Trail and the Gwinn Ridge trails.
