This property is next to the train tracks. Yes trains come by, yes you will hear it, no we haven't had many issues with sleeping. Ear plugs and sound machines are available in the bedrooms for your additional comfort if needed. If you do have little kids, please be aware of them out in the yard at all times.
Pet Friendly - Dogs welcome. Pet fee is $50 (2 max) per night. Please use caution when allowing your pets off their leash outside as we are near train tracks, and please remember to pick up after your animals.

To the North, the Geneva On The Lake Strip and Geneva State Park are a 10 minute drive away. To the south, SPIRE Institute is a 5 minute drive away. And all around are DOZENS of wonderful wineries in the Grand River Valley!
Getting around
You can walk to the center of downtown Geneva in 5 minutes. There are many wineries within 8-15 minute drive from the house. There is a taxi service in town you can use to get anywhere too, and limo bus options for larger group outings. Also, bikes and golf carts are available for rent in Geneva on the Lake.

Thanksgiving in Geneva

Very nice home, staged lovely, comfy beds, lots of room to spread out. The train was loud, but we got used to it. Easy access to highway. Nice flay yard with fire-pit. We would highly recommend to other and we would also stay again. Thanks

Perfect Getaway

We have stayed at many vacation rentals and this one was the most well stocked. The kitchen had everything you may need. We appreciated the soap, shampoo, lotion, makeup removers, and nightlights. It was very comfortable and close to everything. We would highly recommend it.

Your host

My name is Becky and I'm so happy to share our home in Ohio wine country with you! Over the past few years, Geneva has become a special place for my husband and I to visit together when we have a night away from the kids. It's many wineries, proximity to the lake, and small town charm keep us coming back all year long. It was the feeling of home we felt every time we walked into the many family-owned wineries that led to us investing in a property here, where we and many others could enjoy all the beauty, charm and many adventures the Grand River Valley area holds.
I was born and raised in northeast Ohio, where I know live with my husband and three children. When I'm not working on the house or hosting guests, I teach bootcamp classes and indoor cycling.

What makes this property unique

We named the house "Two Front Doors" because of this unique feature not found on many homes today. This modern farmhouse was recently updated to make our guests comfortable during their stay. This includes the addition of air conditioning for the warmer months, a fire pit with seating in the backyard, and hardwood floors throughout the downstairs.
