The Grape Getaway, in the heart of the Grand Valley wine region, is perfect for couples looking to stay together and play together; families making memories; friends meeting up for a few days. Our home is fully furnished with 6 bedrooms - 2 king suites, 3 queen rooms w/ twin loft, and 1 twin over full bunk room. The game room with bar at the front of the house is perfect to hang out and has a large, rolling barn door that separates the space from the rest of the home. Activities include pool table, classic arcade game system, dart board, and board games. The cozy movie room at the back of the home is great for teens, kids, or movie night with the family. Two sofa beds offer additional lounging and sleeping space.

Local wineries, coffee shop, and downtown Geneva shops and restaurants are within walking distance of the house. The West Liberty Street Covered Bridge, the shortest covered bridge in the US, can be seen from the back yard. Spire Institute is less than a 5 minute drive from the property. Ohio's oldest summer resort, Geneva-on-the-Lake, is just 4 miles north of the property.

The home is equipped with 4 large screen, high definition Smart TVs as well as a whole house sound system. High speed WIFI access via Google mesh network provides plenty of streaming and downloading capabilities for your entire group.

The kitchen/dining area is a great spot for hosting your group dinners. The area will seat up to 20 people so you can enjoy a meal together. The photography throughout the home represents the many activities and attractions found throughout Ashtabula County.

The Grape Getaway was absolutely the perfect place for my daughter's bachelorette weekend. She and her friends had plenty of space to play games, do crafts, party, and relax. The location was ideal. The house and property are beautiful and well maintained. Communication with the hosts was quick and easy. I highly recommend!

Family getaway

What a great house. The layout, the size of the rooms and all the amenities were perfect. Not to close to center of Geneva on the lake but closer to all wineries for a different place to stay.

Great Destination for a group

We rented the house as a base station for the extended family for my nieces wedding. The hosts were most accommodating...dropping off an ironing board...at out request. It was fantastic from start to finish.

Family get-together

The house is roomy and beautiful! We all came from different states and Canada and had a wonderful time enjoying our visit. Plenty of activities nearby that we could do together or separately. And of course we all had a day at the beach!

12 girls and I stayed here for a weekend for my bachelorette party! The house was beyond perfect!! The built in sound system had all of jamming together, it was so fun!! The close winery’s and bars were close distance! I would definitely recommend this house!!!

Geneva getaway

As Christmas gift to my Mom, all 5 of her kids and their spouses spent the weekend in Geneva. House was spotless and we loved all the large open areas for gathering. The arcade games were fun. Also loved being so close to all the wineries. 6th bedroom is not ideal for 2 adults but we made it work. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Stay

From the time I booked until we checked out, our experience at the Grape Getaway was absolutely perfect! The house had everything we needed plus much more! It was very clean (very important these days!) and an excellent space to host a large group. We went to the local wineries, so it was a perfect location as well, being only a short drive from most of them. It was our first time to Geneva and we are recommending the trip and the Grape Getaway to our family and friends- great weekend trip from Pittsburgh. Thank you Beth and Joe for a perfect weekend!

Plenty of Space for Everyone!

We had a group of 14 stay at the house and we had plenty of room to sleep, play, relax, and eat together. Check-in was easy and parking was ample. The home was pristine with all the modern amenities you could want! The yard and outdoor patio were big with lots of seating. The upstairs deck was a nice addition! Inside the home, there are multiple couches and seating in the living room, kitchen, game room and upstairs movie room. We found the entire house to be well stocked with linens, kitchen supplies, and entertainment options including surround sound throughout. Having two washers and driers was convenient for our large multi-family group. There was also extra beds and pull-out couches we never needed to use! We were able to walk into town and besides the occasional train, it was a quiet neighborhood. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend this home to others!

Great Property and Terrific Hosts!

We booked this property for Thanksgiving week. Three families for a total of 12 people stayed here. Because the house was so nice and spacious. We actually hosted Thanksgiving dinner for other family that live in the area. We had over 25 people total for dinner and easily had room for more. The house is exactly as shown in the pictures. It’s new, it’s clean and it actually had everything we needed in the kitchen. The hosts were wonderful from the moment we booked it. Beth reached out immediately to ask if there was anything they could do to make our stay better. Our families were coming in from different places, some flying, and some driving, and arriving at different times, and they were very flexible on check-in time for us. The welcome package was very comprehensive and Beth stayed in touch right up until we were in the house. We had nearly 4 feet of snow during our five day stay and the driveway was plowed and the stairs and walkways shoveled, every morning. We would highly recommend this property and had a wonderful overall experience. Over the years we’ve stayed in a number of different properties in the area when we return to gather as a family and it was so nice having such a large nice place for family to get together. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Bachelorette weekend to remember!

This house is SO incredible! I had my bachelorette weekend here and we had 15 people total in our group. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep and no one had to wait to take a shower too long. We had a great time gathering in the kitchen area and starting our day there! The space outside was great for late night talks. Hosts were very kind and helped us shut off the fireplace when we accidentally turned it on. I would recommend this house to any group looking to have a great time in Geneva!

Beautiful Home!

We stayed here this past weekend for a wine tour in Geneva. It was a beautiful property, very clean and if anything, the pictures don’t do justice to how nice this home is! I would definitely stay here again with a big group. In addition, the check-in and checkout process was very easy, the owner is very kind and promptly responds to any messages. I would highly recommend staying here.
