About this property

This one bedroom home has everything needed for a comfortable and convenient stay in Memphis. Perfect for couples or solo travelers. Our home is just a few miles from everywhere you want to be in Memphis: Overton Square, Cooper Young, Downtown, and more. We're a 5 min. walk from Overton Park.
The space
The Forest Ave is a recently fully remodeled duplex. The home has a spacious kitchen, one large bedroom, a full bath, and a comfortable living and dining area. Guests are welcome to the fully appointed kitchen and are free to use the the brand new washer and dryer as needed. We also have a dedicated work from home space.
Guest access
You'll have the full access to your unit, to yourself, with access to the bedroom closet and drawer space, work from home desk, couch, fully stocked kitchen, and in-unit washer and dyer. Guests can help themselves to coffee and are welcome to binge-watch Netflix on the 50 inch flatscreen tv or sign into your other streaming apps with our high speed internet.
Other things to note
Our home is in the center of Memphis & very convenient to many attractions and restaurants. However, with this convenience also comes aspects of city life, namely noise from time to time. For safety and security we have a ring security camera on our front porch and backyard that are always on.

We have easy check in with smart door locks.

Good times, great host!

This property was as described, with a few unexpected extras that made the stay even better. There were dishes, pots and pans; lots of toilet tissue, paper towels - basically all kinds of things you would need in a home were provided. Responses from the management were immediate and the one small issue that we ran into was resolved quickly. I would recommend this house highly and I would stay here again myself.

Great place

I arrived really late thanks to flight delays, but even as tired as I was when I got in I was blown away by the place. It had the crisp look of a new apartment with the old town style of what I've always loved about midtown. The apartment is part of a duplex and I didn't realize that when I rented, but that was my mistake. There were some issues with noise next door but the owners were quick to respond and I do realize some of it can't be helped. The location is good - very close to access to the interstate as well as the midtown locations for restaurants and the zoo and park. I never felt unsafe but I'm familiar with the area and know it well. Parking is limited - one spot off street but the street is very low traffic and well lit. The weather was unseasonably cold while I was in town and the front of the house did stay cold, but the bedroom was warm/comfortable at all times. The kitchen is well appointed - all new appliances. If you happen to be stuck indoors, there's a really nice tv with internet and cable as well as a couple of games to keep you busy. And the internet service was top notch. One minor issue arose during my stay with the door lock but the owners responded instantly to address it and it was resolved. Overall, they have made it an easy access for renters while providing security. Loved the place - will stay again when I'm back in town.
