Guest Access:
You will receive your access code for this self check-in unit at 3:45pm (cst) prior to Check in at 4:00pm. You will also have this home all to yourself, you will have a private entrance and your very own drive way to park your vehicles.
The Neighborhood:
We are located in a quiet family friendly neighborhood. We ask that you respect our neighbors and keep noise and disruption to a minimum during your stay.

HOUSE RULES:
No Smoking Inside, NO PARTIES. No Gatherings. Be kind to the neighbors. Do not block their parking spots/driveways. If you BREAK THE NO PARTY RULE, you will be asked to leave and forfeit your rent. We have the right to assess a $500 fine if these rules are violated. This home is in a residential neighborhood so please observe the quiet times— 10:00pm to 7:00am.
Disclaimer- We have EXTERIOR Security camera located in the entrance of our home that record activity when somebody comes enters and leave the area of residence. The exterior security cameras are in place to ensure we are in compliance with our House Rules. Footage remains private and is used to monitor occupancy, No unregistered Animal/Pet Policy, No Smoking Policy, No Party/Guests or Visitor Policy, and for liability purposes.
LOCAL guests - please send us a message before booking. We cannot host local guests without prior authorization or preapproval. We have the right to decline guests who refuses to go through our pre screening or disagrees with our house rules.
PETS:
We welcome well behaved pets with prior host approval. Please include your pet in the reservation. The platform only allows one pet fee—additional pets must be paid separately via the Resolution Center or invoice. Pet fee is $50 per pet, per stay. All pets must be pre-approved.
Guests must clean up after their pets. Unauthorized or unreported pets may result in fines up to $500, plus any damages or extra cleaning.

We had the perfect gathering space for our group for the weekend. The property was clean, the kitchen was stocked with essentials, there was plenty of parking and the location was near many shopping and dining options.
We had several activities planned in the Village West area and this house was a perfect location. We had little ones so this house gave us a place for them to take naps and early bedtime and the adults to still have adult time playing cards, etc on large dining table. Very spacious and very clean. Quiet neighborhood.
My family came to KC for the KU and Chiefs football games. The house was a perfect spot to land between the two. It was very clean, neighborhood was safe and close to legends. Beds were very comfortable and sheets super soft. Owner responded quickly to all my messages regarding check in and out. We had a great weekend.
We traveled from Alabama and NC for our nephew’s wedding. The house was in a very convenient location for the wedding and activities of the weekend. The house was prepared for our visit, clean, and comfortable. We did have one issue which the property managers took care of.
Working with this host was great. They were very responsive to all my emails and questions in a timely manner. The house is older so things are a little run down and out of date but generally pretty good. It says a 4 bedroom and there is probably a pull out downstairs but it is basically a three bedroom. The basement is a little dark (it’s a basement) and we didn’t use it all. Location was perfect for our needs.

KC No Charm
This house needs some serious upkeep and repairs. All dining chairs were broken and lights burnt out in all 3 bathroom vanities. If these basic things were not corrected before checking in, you can imagine the disrepair of the rest of the house. Very dirty inside and out, the bathroom faucet and the primary shower are caked in rust and calcification. There many safety issues to include large pieces of jagged wood coming up through the chaise lounge when you sit down, splintered wood, sharp staples under the kitchen table and exposed nails on wood in the pet friendly yard. The owner was responsive and sent someone out to fix the chairs and the burnt out lights however most the rest of the problems stem from years of neglect and will take a lot of effort to fix. The bedrooms are not accurately reflected in the ad, the main bedroom has a king bed, the 2 spare bedrooms have 1 full bed each and there is not a 4th bedroom but a pull out couch in the basement.

Thank you for your feedback, though I must say this has been one of the most challenging experiences I’ve had hosting.
We take all guest concerns seriously, but it’s important to note that many of the issues you’ve raised were either addressed promptly during your stay or were exaggerated beyond their reality. For instance, when you mentioned the broken dining chairs and burnt-out lights, I immediately arranged for repairs to be done, as I always do when a problem arises. Unfortunately, your ongoing dissatisfaction was not due to lack of action on our part, but due to the unrealistic and often unreasonable demands you made.
While we do take pride in maintaining our property, it’s clear that your expectations were unreasonably high. You mentioned "years of neglect" and suggested that the house was in disrepair, yet all of the issues you pointed out had either already been addressed or were not as severe as described. Regarding the safety concerns, we’ve done a full inspection of the property after your departure and found no issues that posed a legitimate risk to guests.
As for the bed configurations, our listing clearly outlines the number and type of beds, and it seems this was another case where you failed to properly review the details before booking. Our listing is transparent, and we make every effort to ensure accurate information is provided.
In addition, while I always strive to resolve any issues, your continuous demands and unreasonable behavior, along with the personal attacks and threats made toward me, made this an exceptionally difficult experience. I would strongly advise other hosts to carefully consider whether they want to deal with such an entitled and difficult guest in the future.
In conclusion, while I wish you well, I sincerely hope you find more suitable accommodations in the future that better meet your expectations. This review does not reflect the property fairly, and it seems to be more of an attempt to vent frustration rather than provide constructive feedback.
