This spacious 6-bedroom, 3-bathroom lakefront home was thoughtfully designed for families to unwind, reconnect, and enjoy the beauty of nature in every season.

Inside, the chef’s kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, serving dishes, and everything you need to entertain. Gather with friends around the oversized kitchen island or relax in the attached family room by the warmth of a roaring fire. Step out onto the back porch to enjoy stargazing as their reflections shimmer on the calm lake.

Upstairs, four bedrooms are arranged around a large living area featuring three sofas and a TV with over 200 channels—perfect for movie nights or rainy-day relaxation.

Outdoors, enjoy a stunning 1,200 feet of private sandy beach with shallow swimming, a large stone fireplace ideal for toasting marshmallows and hot dogs, and plenty of seating for 10–12 guests. There’s also a wide range of outdoor games including bocce ball, cornhole, ladder ball, and badminton. Two kayaks are available for your use, along with a ping pong table upstairs and board games for family fun.

Adventure seekers will love the miles of four-wheeling and side-by-side trails right out the driveway, as well as nearby opportunities for biking, fishing, hunting, kayaking, hiking, snowmobiling, and skiing. There's ample space for parking ATVs and snowmobiles.

The great getaway

The stay was fantastic and the location is even better than the pictures show. The host is so wonderful by answering any questions we had in a timely manner and even took the kids tadpoles catching. This house is a house we will definitely visit again.

Very spacious, beautiful views, kitchen perfect for cooking for a large group. The only negative I found was the beach appeared to be a mix of sand and clay (or over saturated sand) in some spots, but once you got out into the water the sand was great. There had also been a lot of rain around the time of our visit that could have also played a part. The little kids did not seem to mind either way. Family had a great and relaxing stay!

Private, Peaceful, & Spacious Lakefront Getaway

Overall, this was a very nice place. It was clean, spacious, and well stocked. The driveway is long and set back from the highway, so you don't even hear the highway traffic at all. The only downfall was the weather, which host had no control over! We would love to come back again in summer so we can enjoy the beach & bonfires.

We met from several locations for an extended family trip. The house was GREAT! Fully supplied with everything we needed and then some. Great location with a fantastic private beach. Yard was awesome for family games and gathering and the porch overlooking the water was my favorite way to start every day with a sunrise over the lake. Easy communication with the owners when needed. Great vacation!

Very nice house on secluded property.

House was clean and lake view was beautiful! Ample kitchen utensils, spices and etc to cook and bake as needed. Indoor and outdoor games, kayaking and fire pit were excellent to enjoy family time. Owner had property was great to deal with and responded promptly. Thanks!

Great large family gathering space

This house is large and very well appointed. Everything we might need was available to us. We enjoyed the yard games, kayaks, fireplace, and ping pong table. We had plenty of space inside for 12 people. The breathtaking lake was visible from so many parts of the house. We enjoyed day trips to Escanaba and Painted Rocks.

Spacious home for a large family getaway

Beautiful and spacious home stocked with everything you could possibly need with lots of room for everyone. Our family of 12 - 2 grandparents, 4 adult children and spouses, and grandchildren all had our own space. So many nice features inside the house - plus the property is very private with your own beach on Lake Michigan. Our host Helen was great - super easy check-in and checkout. Can't say enough good things about the property. Book it!

Best Lake Front Retreat

This home is perfect! From the well appointed kitchen, to comfortable beds, the outdoor fire place and amazing view. Our family had a wonderful time reconnecting and relaxing before the back to school crazy started. We planned on cooking and this kitchen made it so easy and fun, I loved the stove! The kayaks in the garage were great, though there was only one paddle we could locate, it wasn't an issue. The garage was impeccably clean too! We bbq'd and sat outside at night to enjoy the stars and the Milky Way, something we don't see often at home with the light pollution. There were several "bug reduction units" outside to help with mosquitos (an inevitable visitor when you're outside) and our sensitive skin family members appreciated that. We would stay again and highly recommend Helen's property to anyone looking for a get away with all the comforts and MORE of home. THANK YOU!
