A true five star beach house experience that is adjacent to the lushly landscaped wildlife preserve. The newly-renovated, over-3,500 square foot home provides a second story, panoramic view of ocean sunrises and lush tropical vegetation. Leave the silk drapes pulled. Open the screened windows at night and your mornings will be flooded with golden light and the symphony of surf. Upstairs: stunning master bedroom with large walk-in closet and 2 floor-to-ceiling built-in wardrobes, custom bath. Opens to a sitting area with flat screen TV, writing desk, study alcove, and 180-degree balcony view. On the first floor find a large laundry room, brand-new chef's kitchen with granite, stainless appliances, dishwasher, and easy access to pool patio and family room. Three additional bedrooms with a second master and separate surf motif bedroom all with designated bathrooms. New HD TV, A/V equipment, and gaming console. All new doors, windows, beautiful Key West styled roof, newly painted and the best news is a pool heater is now available for our guests to enjoy! Two of the bedrooms and two living spaces open to the pool terrace. A 2-car garage (with Tesla Charger), private auto court, and a dozen coconut palms are on a large fenced and hedged inviting property. Everything here is at the ready including beach toys, umbrellas, chairs and kayaks. A private home furnished with art, antiques, and all the comforts of home located within the exclusive coastal neighborhood of the Moorings, Vero Beach.

Adjacent beach access to a beautiful, quiet beach that is great for everyone to enjoy. The quaint upscale town of Vero Beach offers numerous fine restaurants, fun bars, state parks, and shops nearby.

Please note the Owner and Tenant agree to be bound by a supplemental Short-Term Rental Agreement that is uploaded and available to review on the Vrbo website. In the event of a conflict between the Vrbo terms and the Short-Term Rental Agreement, the Short-Term Rental Agreement will shall take priority in all matters. This was a fabulous house in the best location - a quiet neighborhood across from the beach. The house was amazing. It was so well equipped as if the owners take great pleasure in making you want for nothing during your stay. Bikes, beach chairs and umbrellas, coolers, beach games and kayaks were at our disposal. The beach is gorgeous and private for members of the nearby club only. We loved seeing the gopher tortoises and bird life each day. There were plenty of great restaurants in Vero to choose from but the kitchen was so well equipped, there’s no need to venture too far. This is a fabulous rental and we would definitely like to return some day. Thank you to James for great communication and letting us stay!

This was a beautiful house in a great neighborhood near an excellent town! And the house is directly across the street from a wonderful beach that goes on and on with very few people.The house and location exceeded our expectations. The house is very large, modern and in immaculate condition. The layout is great for a big family or multiple families as each bedroom has it's own bathroom and a living area right outside.The kitchen is very well stocked with top quality pots, pans and utensils. The appliances were all very nice and the addition of a coffee maker and espresso machine were a nice touch!There are bikes, kayaks, beach chairs, coolers - everything you need.Communication with the owner was quick and easy. Check in and out was very simple which is so nice after a long day travelling.Five stars across the board!

The house has tons of space, is well equipped, and it’s right across the street from the beach. The beach is honestly one of the nicest we’ve seen in all of Florida (we’ve seen most). It’s a very quite area and perfect for a family with young kids.

Our week in this lovely spot could not have been more ideal! We are thankful to owner (James) for his effort to communicate and accommodate. The home is well appointed, very spacious, comfortable and a very quick walk to the beach. We kept remarking all week that we really lucked out in finding the perfect spot. We would most definitely stay there again!

The property was wonderful and even better than the pictures. The 4 bedrooms are all off different parts of the house to allow privacy (each having its own bathroom). The kitchen was large and equipped with everything you could ever want (we especially enjoyed the waffle maker!). The beach is just across the road and always empty.The garden and pool are very private and excellent for enjoying a lazy afternoon.The house is close to restaurants and shops, as well as amazing wildlife. We saw manatees, dolphins, goffer tortoise, baby turtles, wild rabbits and snakes.James was a fantastic host. We are hoping to return next year. Thank you James!

Great Beach House

The house was well stocked, clean, and only about 200 years to the ocean. While not beach-front, it's so close that you can hear the surf. The pool was a nice respite in the late afternoon when we were done lounging on the beach.

Home away from home!

Gorgeous, spacious, well-maintained home with everything you could think of to make you feel right at home! Everything you need for the beach from towels to umbrellas to kids' toys. Practically new refrigerator and washer/dryer. This house was perfect for our family, our teenagers each had their own room with private bathroom and there are 2 TV rooms. The tortoise burrow in the front yard was fun, we named the tortoise and had fun watching her. The tortoises across the street were fun to see on the walk over to the beach. The beach we almost always had entirely to ourselves. We were able to make some rare finds like a 8" in-tact conch, which we kept outside as a pet for the week and then took home the shell. I enjoyed the nice, long running path in the area, and our oldest was able to use one of the bikes to bike into town for his gym workouts. James the owner was always available by text. We had a great week and made a lot of memories with our kids!!

Our family stayed here for a week in March & couldn’t have asked for a better experience!! The house location is ideal- it’s directly across from the beach access & the beach is gorgeous! We spent most of our time there, and even with perfect weather, it was never crowded. We watched beautiful sunrises, went boogie boarding & even saw 2 rocket launches! The house provides plenty of beach necessities, water toys, outdoor games, bikes, board games & books to unwind. This place was perfect for my husband & I, our kids & their significant others. It’s clean, updated & the layout is well planned out- each bedroom, with its own bathroom, is in a separate area of the house. The rooms were good size, beds were comfortable & there was plenty of closet space. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need- aside from the essentials, there’s an espresso machine, coffee maker (keurig & traditional), toaster, crock pot, etc. We were pleased there was a gas grill, and the dining area on the covered patio was used almost every meal. Even though we only used it once, the pool was a plus & the pool floats were relaxing. This whole property seems private with mature trees and fenced backyard, & the neighborhood is peaceful- which is what we hoped for. The communication throughout our whole experience with this property was exceptional & we’re grateful to know we had an available contact. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone planning a vacation to Vero Beach!!

The pictures don’t do it justice! Many spaces have been updated. The house is beautiful, but the location is amazing! Directly across from the beach access, your toes are in the sand in no time. The kids LOVED the pool! The yard was gorgeous and we spent a lot of hours there. The house had everything we needed and we can’t wait to go back!

We are the new owners of 1025 Reef Road and intend to continue to share this special house. Our family was looking for a home away from our home in Miami and kept coming back to Vero Beach. We love its access to nature, the quiet beaches, and the friendliness of the town. We know you will enjoy Vero Beach, too.

Why they chose this property

This house reminded us of a beach house in style and spirit of those we knew on the East Coast. It is located directly across from the beach access, meaning we are 'oceanfront' in that there are no homes between us and the beach. The park is a protected tortoise habitat, and you see them out roaming about nearly every time you stroll to the beach. We also have the Loggerhead and Leatherback sea turtles here in season, on our beach, nesting at night. The beach in this section of Vero is wide, quiet, and very private.

What makes this property unique

This is a large, classically-decorated private home with three separate living areas indoors and three distinct outdoor gathering spaces. We loved the space, so just finished major renovations installing tile floors throughout the first floor, gutting 2 1/2 baths, completely updating the kitchen creating open access to the family room and pool patio, house newly painted and all new hurricane doors and windows were added. The pool also has a new pool heater. We have a Kayak, beach chairs, two bicycles, games/beach toys, and fishing equipment here for guests to use.
