Description
Bear Claw cabin provides a fully equipped kitchen (excluding an oven), a small refrigerator, a microwave, coffee pot, a queen bed (sleeps 2), a small futon, a spacious jacuzzi, a romantic gas fireplace, Wi-Fi, a flat-screen satellite TV, an outside charcoal grill (charcoal and starter fluid should be brought), two propane grills (propane is provided), a fire pit area (wood is provided), a picnic table, and a porch swing. We provide coffee, powdered creamer, sugar, salt and pepper, shampoo, conditioner, hand and dish soap, towels, and linens. Please note that paper towels are not provided.
There is so much nature here!! Dozens of hiking trails! Amazing fishing spots all over the place in the 7 lakes and 5 nearby streams. The spectacular and famous "Two -Sixty" trailhead is just 6 minutes away and dozens of other hiking trails even closer along Colcord Road. Our cabins offer breathtaking forested views of the Mogollon Rim. During your stay, you can enjoy various activities such as playing horseshoes, sitting around a campfire under the stars, or simply relaxing. Also often available by advance request are other games such as disc golf, cornhole, bocce ball, croquette, and badminton. Woods Canyon Lake is just a few miles away with kayaks, pontoon boats and other toys for rent. It and other nearby lakes and streams also offer abundant hiking, kayaking, boating, trout & other fishing, ATV riding, mountain biking, bird watching and more. Close by Christopher Creek has amazing fishing and hiking.

Neighborhood restaurants provide live outdoor music, dancing, and delicious meals.

The cabin comfortably accommodates 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults (Queen plus small futon)

Quiet secluded roomy Cottage

A little dated especially the sofas which were quite difficult to get up from and the leather one was quite uncomfortable

Fun stay

We were happy to stay here. The issues we had weren’t terrible but inconvenient. Our first night we couldn’t use the jacuzzi, it was 67 degrees and didn’t heat up til the next day. The cabin was very hot, bring an extra fan. Over all the property was very nice. Although the seating areas were very overgrown and we stuck with sitting by the fireplace. Fire wood was provided so that was super nice. We would love to stay again some time.

Cozy, relaxing cabin!

We had a great time at our cabin! The Jacuzzi was a nice touch. Everything was accessible and available. We will stay again!

Beautiful

This place was really nice, I loved staying here, the location was great! And the people who also booked were friendly along with their dogs, I would stay here again! the only issues we had were, the spa wasn’t working, the TV remote was MIA lol, and the AC unit wasn’t left with a tube to connect to a window so it made it to where we had to leave our doors open to avoid it getting 90 in the room like the other cabins, but over all it wasn’t that bad because we got to fully disconnect from our normal and get fresh air (so not a huge negative for me) I Loved the outside fire pit and being able to grill and hang out with new people, super excited to come back soon! ☺️
