Two Bedroom Cottage with Great Lake Views!

Must be 30 yrs old. This woodsy cedar cottage is located at Crown Point Resort in an area of lake cottages. I own and rent several others. It sits high on the point with great lake views. The deck also commands terrific lake views. It is located on the west shore of 3000 acre Lake Kegonsa, just a few miles from Stoughton, and only 15-20 minutes to downtown Madison.

The cottage is totally modern, stocked with linens and cookware, washer/dryer, cable,AC,& wifi. Relax on the deck while grilling on the Weber. Bring your boat, no dock charges, or rent a paddleboard , kayak, or the pontoon and get out on the water. No pets allowed. No party groups. 3 night min. stay on holidays.

Great value. Family owned resorts are harder and harder to find. Very thoughtfully laid out so everything felt quite private on our deck. Lovely lake and location too. Had a great time w the kid. Hope to be back next year!

We had a great time at this cottage! The setting was perfect for relaxing and making memories with our family of 4. The grounds are well kept and the cottage had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The fireplace was nice for the chilly nights. The host was great with communication and friendly! We will definitely stay again the next time we are back in the area.

The cabin was clean and very cozy! It had a fire place and a wonderful view of the lake. Frank and his son Steve were both super friendly and helpful. It was quiet and just an all around pleasant experience. We will come back!

Great little cottage in a beautiful location. Spotted bald eagles on the lake along with lots of ducks, geese and shore birds. Frank was great. Communication was perfect. He made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. I would definitely recommend this property.

Weekend Getaway

The best thing this little cabin has going for it is the view!! Spectacular sunrises!!! A great 2 tier deck over looks Lake Kegonsa. It is a small cabin, on a bank above the lake, surrounded by trees, landscaping and other cabins. If you cannot do stairs this probably isn't the best choice. The walkway to the cabin is a series of steps down to it, and then back up to the parking lot . Cabin 5 has a tiny kitchen with full size frig, gas stove, dishwasher and sink. We didn't use the fireplace but has one. (gas? not wood burning) Two queen beds, but the second bedroom is VERY small. Two extremely comfy recliners, a full sized sofa and pretty much all the amenities you need. Not fancy but functional. If you are used to soft water- this does not have it! We used the Webber grill and had a great meal. Air conditioners and fans kept us cool in the heat of summer. Washer/dryer! Bring your favorite body wash, shampoo, coffee, food and condiments.(and a sharp knife if you intend to cook.) This is a good area for water activities, hiking, fishing, birdwatching. The resort is off the beaten path, but right next to it! Easy to get to restaurants, events in Madison, shopping. The owner, Frank takes good care of everything and is good about answering questions. If we get to this area again we would stay here again. .

Such a lovely stay

The cabin was perfect for us two girls, lifelong friends visiting my daughters who live in Madison. The view of the lake was breathtaking. We enjoyed the glorious sunrise both days! Frank was so accommodating and a perfect host. We hope to stay here again!

Excellent Location for Badger Game

My wife and I enjoyed two nights at the resort while visiting Madison for a college football game. Frank provided exemplary insights before, and during our stay. The cabin was wonderful, with exceptional views of the lake. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Right on "Point"

Great spot, close to town and Madison. Cottage was great and the Sunrises amazing!! Cant wait to go back. Host has lots a good information about restaurant suggestions plus events..very helpful
