Quiet and convenient home with a view

Enjoy the most beautiful view of the city of Red Wing, and the Mississippi River valley! From the moment you walk up to the main floor, you'll see for miles! Relax with our gas fireplace, with ample space for 6-8 people. Our home away from home offers very easy access to downtown Red Wing, is a couple blocks away from the grocery store and school park/greenspace.

Parking is available via the shared driveway and tuck-under garage. If entering through the garage, you will enter through the laundry/mudroom. On the first floor you'll find:
- Bedroom #1 (the largest bedroom) with queen bed, full dresser, two closets, TV, and table desk
- Living room with gas fireplace and two couches that convert to twin sleeper sofas
- 3/4 bathroom with shower (Bathroom #1)
- Coat closet and plenty of storage space

When you go upstairs to the main floor, you will see our:
- Fully-stocked kitchen with breakfast nook
- Dining room (table seats 6)
- Living room with gas fireplace and large couch, loveseat, coffee table, chairs
- Attached screen porch
- Full bathroom (Bathroom #2)
- Bedroom #2 (smallest bedroom) with twin trundle beds that can be combined into single king, dresser, closet, TV, laptop desk
- Bedroom #3 with queen bed, dresser, TV, closet, laptop desk

Red Wing is a beautiful city with lots to do! We be sure to include lots of info on current area attractions so you can make the most out of your stay, as well.

Red Wing is located on the Mississippi River, with several quaint towns on both the Minnesota and Wisconsin side that are easily driveable and make great day trips. In addition, we are 50 miles (~1 hour drive) to the Twin Cities, 45 miles (~50 minute drive) to Rochester.

We recently stayed in Red Wing for our daughter's wedding. This property was exactly what we needed! It was out home-base for prep before the wedding, as well as a great place to land following the reception. This was a great place for our family to just be - whether it was 90 or pouring rain outside, we had a place to make food, play card games, rest and connect with one another. The host was quick to address anything that we needed. We appreciated the space!

Great Home!

I stayed with my daughter, my niece, and 3 children under 3 yo. The house was very spacious and open. The view was gorgeous in a very quiet neighborhood. It was very hot and the air conditioner went out the night prior of leaving so we went home early because we don’t live very far away. Rachel was very communicative and gracious to refund our last night. Definitely a great place in a great city!

The house is quite large with ample room for 3 couples to stay, me and my children and theirs spouses. The decor is dated but has an early Americana vibe to the place. Very well maintained home in a scenic spot in a very cute little city.

Wonderful spot!

We traveled to Red Wing for a small and more relaxed bachelorette party weekend. This home was lovely and just perfect to stay in. We all commented on how we could sit and stare out the big window with a gorgeous view for hours on end. And we were a super short drive from our spa trip, hike, and restaurants. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing Place

Our group had an awesome time in the home! The house itself is great, very clean and was able to accommodate out two families with no issue. We enjoyed the large kitchen space, fireplaces, and amazing views. The owners were super responsive and showed up to shovel when needed! We will definately be recommending this location to others!

Wonderful house in quiet neighborhood

The house was just it was described and photographed. Clean, comfortable beds, great living room with a view of the river, and near the Reg Wing attractions. The gas fireplace was nice on the cooler days during our stay. We will stay again when we are back in the area. Leslie

Labor Day Weekend Visit

Positives: great location close to everything cool in Redwing. 5 minutes to downtown, about 12 minutes to casino. House was very clean, and was well-stocked with nice linens on beds and towels in bathrooms. Kitchen had all the basics, though we didn’t do much eating-in. Dartboard was fun. Absolutely gorgeous views. Plenty of room for parking, and easy to get to the house. Shared driveway no problem. Quiet neighborhood. Not so positives: had some difficulties communicating with the host first due to app issues and then when the host was in a bad phone area and couldn’t get our entry code to us on time. Beds - queens in 2 bedrooms and twins in one. We thought we’d combine the twins for a king bed - but they were not the same size so we couldn’t. Plenty of room in the large bedroom downstairs for a king - would have been great to have at least one king bed option. Shared neighbor driveway was fine - but when we arrived the neighbor side of driveway was full of trash and old furniture (presumably from the neighboring property). Not the hosts fault in any way, but was not a great first impression. Got all taken away the next morning - so that was nice. Overall, home was comfortable, clean and met our needs for a fun weekend in Red Wing.
