Wake up in a cozy cabin in the quiet woods. Have your morning coffee on the back deck with a view of the forest going straight up the mountainside while being entertained by colorful birds, energetic little forest creatures and sometimes deer strolling through the back yard. Depending on the season, you can spend your day snow skiing on fresh powder slopes, horseback riding on mountain trails with incredible views, hiking from right out your back door, mountain biking, four-wheeling, strolling through the woods around the cabin, or simply sitting on your 2nd story deck under the portico, soaking up the peace. Spend your night cuddling up on the spacious deck, wrapped up in a blanket, gazing at the Milky Way in a crystal clear starlit sky.

For the evenings when you don’t feel like cooking in the spacious, extremely well-stocked kitchen, there is a range of restaurants from authentic Peruvian cuisine to excellent pizza and a homey brewery available in the quaint little town of Angel Fire, less than 5 miles away. For gourmet cuisine and incredible shopping, the historic and artsy city of Taos is only @40 mins away, via a breath-taking drive on mountain roads.

Outdoor fires are not allowed. The gas grill in the deck is available and the wood burning stove can also be used.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin! It is in such a peaceful and serene setting and not far at all from angel fire. We were extremely impressed with the roominess and home like feeling of this cabin. Cary was wonderful and so helpful. We will definitely recommend this cabin to friends and hopefully get to come back and visit again!

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

This cabin was lovely! Super warm and cozy, and plenty of seating for everyone to sit around and socialize. We had everything we needed and then some. We will be coming back for another stay in the future, we couldn’t stop saying how relaxing the stay was. Perfect weekend getaway. Can’t wait to come back in warmer weather so that we can enjoy the spacious deck.

Wonderful cabin

We had a great time in Angel Fire and this cabin was exactly what we were hoping for. Just outside of town but very easy to get to and still close to everything. House was clean, beds were comfortable, everything was functional and we were really impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was with appliances, coffee maker, utensils, pots, pans, etc. We cooked at the house for most all meals and had everything we needed. Overall wonderful stay and we highly recommend this place!

I'm Cary and I live north of Dallas. My favorite activity here at the cabin is watching the many different birds feed at the bird feeders and hop around on the porch railings. They are so beautiful and entertaining! I also love to hike through the woods around the cabin or on any of the other beautiful trails in the area.

Why they chose this property

I love this neighborhood because it's so peaceful--like living in the forest!. There are just a few homes in the development so there's alot of open space. My neighbors are very friendly and helpful.

What makes this property unique

In addition to being immaculate and well-located in the valley, I think my cabin has that comfortable, homey feeling that is hard to find in vacation properties. My goal is for my guests to feel as if they are in their own homes in a fun, different location. This is why I keep the cabin so well-stocked. I don't want you to need something you didn't bring, so please let me know if there is an often-used item missing from the cabin.
