Mountain Cabin, 4 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, Near Golf Course & 5 Minutes To Ski Area

The quaint mountain home sits at 8,500 feet between Angel Fire Resort's beautiful Championship 18 hole golf course and Country Club and the Resort's trout filled Monte Verde Lake. Enjoy the fantastic and relaxing views of the mountain scenery while enjoying the commonly crossing game animals from the comfort of the 400+ square foot deck while eating on the picnic table on the deck. (Deck also has a gate to secure small children while you enjoy the fresh mountain air with the kitchen door open to allow open access from the cabin onto the porch). The cabin has full amenities to play and enjoy for all, including flat screen TV's in all bedrooms, xbox gaming console, telephone and fast internet wi-fi connectivity.
Functionally, the 4 bedroom, 2 bath home has full amenities including an in sink-erator, microwave, coffee maker, glass top stove, dish washer, clothes washer and dryer as well as heated toilet seats/bidet's in the restrooms. Eight plus can enjoy the home in comfort. Each nicely decorated bedroom has a queen bed and individually controllable ac/heater with their own separate thermostat for the ultimate in comfort.
For those who must conduct some business while at the Cabin, a multi-function printer/copier/fax machine also awaits your needs.

Located approximately two miles from the town center and base of the ski mountain area, the Resort's ski base can easily be accessed from your own vehicle.

The cabin was exactly as described and everything was spotless. The host said not to overpack because the cabin was well stocked, and he wasn't kidding. The location was beautiful. It started snowing a few hours after we arrived, so it was even prettier. We would definitely stay here again.

THe cabin was well stocked with kitchen appliances, silverware, glasses etc, and a well stocked laundry room to support a family of five, plenty of parking, grill, outdoor fire heater, TV, Xbox and much much more. We've spent 20 years staying at great destination locations, and this cabin, the owners and its well stocked and comfortable attributes at at the top of our experience. Plety of blankets, pillows, lighting, indoor/outdoor space, and HVAC needs were well met!! We highly recommend the location and cabin, and the owner was great to work with!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Cabin had everything we needed and the location was beautiful. We saw turkey, deer and even 2 female Elk while sitting on the deck. Convenient to Monte Verde Lake and town. Look forward to staying again next summer.

Perfect base for exploring the local area. Great hiking trail head right out front door. Deer, turkeys, bobcats, elk, magpie and stellar jays visit the property. 4 bedrooms accommodate 8 adults easily and kitchen is well equipped.

We really enjoyed this property. The bedrooms were a little small but very well set up and comfy. The matresses were comfortable to sleep on. The kitchen was well furnished. Plenty of room in the living area and dining area. We'd for sure stay here again.

I could not have asked for a better location. View of the aspen trees and wildlife were amazing. House has tons of room and is super upgraded with modern technology. Communication from the owner was spot on and a helpful tip sheet on the counter was awesome. This place is Awesome! Can't wait to come back.

Pictures do not do this cozy cabin justice. Great living and dining area. Well stocked kitchen with ample pots, pans plates, etc. The bedrooms were comfy and lay out great. Main level deck was well appointed with fun views of wildlife. Surprise upstairs deck too! Had a quick question and owner, Mr. Elliot, got back with us immediately. Would love to check this out with snow! We had a blast!

Our family loved staying at this Angel Fire home over spring break! The cabin has every amenity you could possibly think of! We loved the location and the coziness of the cabin! After a long day of skiing, the family room is perfect to relax in with enough seating for a large family to watch a movie or play a game. The appliances are very nice in the home and Michael was great about checking on us to see if we needed anything. We have stayed in many homes in the Angel Fire area and this one was our favorite!! We will be back! You will love this exceptional cabin!!

The most well stocked VRBO we have ever stayed in. Well appointed kitchen. So many little details that makes being away from home that much more enjoyable. Had sleds for the kids to use, cell phone chargers, throw blankets, travel coffee cups…. The list could go on. Very comfortable beds! Great quick response to any question we had. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Amazing stay June 2024!!!!!!!

This property is incredible! Everything about this place is high end. The pictures on vrbo really don’t do it justice. The location was perfect for our needs, really close to the golf course and having no neighbors close was ideal for our group. We used the grill multiple times and it worked perfectly. Having separate AC units in every room was wonderful, but we actually only used them the first day when the temp was above 85 degrees Everything in the smart home worked perfectly Everyone in our group loved this place and we will stay here every time we visit Angel fire.

Wonderful, as always!

As usual, we were able to see elk, deer, turkey, and squirrels in the front yard. House is always immaculate, with all appliances working perfectly, great tasting water, good water heater, and good faucet pressure. Home owner is awesome and always there to answer questions. We very much appreciate being able to vacation in such a great location in a super clean house. We plan to return as soon as we can. Thanks for everything Michael!!

Bit of disrepair

The owner was very responsive but several things were not working (Internet and Alexa). One of the ceiling fans was hanging from wires!! Bedrooms were tight. Carpet was a bit dirty, carpet is not ideal for a mountain house. Okay other than those.

I have no control over utility outages and I was just told about the ceiling fan issue which i will replace asap. The carpet is necessary due to the cold environment so that guest will not have cold feet. The carpet is only 1 year old and I will make sure it gets deep cleaned asap. I take great pride in keeping my place a true 5 star place and home away from home. I have more than 50 5 star ratings and take great pride in my place and am seriously offended by this review.

Nice stay

Nice location in angel fire, at the time of my stay the resort was doing lots of repairs on the roads, made for dusty conditions. The house was very comfortable, heat and ac worked fine, kitchen was well equipped. Bed was comfortable. There was one issue i had with the trash bag disposal, the owner described two locations where trash disposal dumpsters could be found, i looked for both and could not find either one. Made other arrangements for disposal of the trash. It was a minor inconvenience.
