I love the history of this home and being part of keeping it alive—especially here in my hometown of Gallatin. There’s something special about sharing that charm and character with others. As a local Realtor, I also enjoy connecting with guests who are exploring the area or considering a move. Hosting at Historic Stonewall gives me the chance to welcome people home—whether for a weekend or something more permanent.

What makes this property unique
Historic Stonewall isn't just a place to stay—it's an immersive journey into nearly two centuries of Gallatin's rich history. Built in 1831, this 5,600-square-foot home has gracefully transitioned through various roles—from a private residence to a boys' dormitory for Neophogen College in the 1870s, and now, a thoughtfully restored guesthouse managed by the Sumner County Museum .
Each room is adorned with period furnishings and artifacts, many accompanied by QR codes that share their unique stories, allowing guests to connect deeply with the home's past . Recent enhancements include a new bunk room, expanding accommodations to comfortably host up to 12 guests—ideal for family gatherings, weddings, or group retreats.
Situated on East Main Street, Stonewall offers the charm of a historic setting with the convenience of modern amenities. Guests are just a short walk from Gallatin's vibrant downtown square, featuring local eateries, boutique shops, and cultural attractions. Staying at Stonewall means more than just a visit; it's an opportunity to become part of Gallatin's living history.
