Beachfront Cottage off Tunnel of Trees

Follow the tunnel of trees down into Chippewa Cove, a secluded wooded retreat with 1600 ft of shared private beach. The beaches are the sandiest, clearest beaches you can find in Michigan. The home is comfortable with plenty of space and everything you need to stay here. Alternatively, you can use this as your "up north" base and take day trips to Harbor Springs, Petoskey, Charlevoix, Mackinaw City, Cross Village, Wilderness State Park, and more.

I live in Grand Rapids with my wife Melissa and our pup Marla. We love northern MI and love that we get to share it with others with the cottage.

Why they chose this property

This is quintessential "up north" - far enough north to feel secluded but still close enough to take advantages of cities like Petoskey, Charlevoix, and Mackinaw City. We also have loved discovering the smaller gems like Good Hart and Cross Village. It feels like a slower pace of living up here and is one of the best beaches we have found in Michigan.
