We had a fantastic stay at Meg's ski chalet. It was great for our family of 5 and dog and all of our ski stuff. The decor was amazing and the location was perfect. We hope to be back in the future!
The Chalet was the perfect place to stay for a weekend of getting away and unplugging. Being dog friendly was a huge bonus for us with being able to bring our pups. The chalet had everything we needed and was in great shape. A true vintage getaway, and the view off of the back deck is amazing
Our stay at the mid-century ski chalet was fantastic! The decor was stylish and perfectly captured that retro vibe, making the space feel both cozy and unique. The location couldn’t have been better—close to the slopes and local attractions, yet peaceful. The chalet was fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, from kitchen essentials to cozy bedding. Our two dogs absolutely loved the space, especially the back yard where they could play. Meghan was an awesome host, we liked the spot so much, she was able to get us an extra night! Highly recommend this gem for a perfect getaway!
We loved it. The view of the ski slopes and the deck were awesome. I'm just sorry we had to leave a day early due to illness. We were planning on going to the heather farm on Sunday.
We had a great stay at this cute chalet. The location was perfect and the house had so many special touches that made a fun, unique stay. Highly recommend!
My husband and I loved our chalet stay! The property is beautiful - with room for our golden retriever to play and amazing sunset views. The patio deck and small fire pit was our favorite part of the chalet! Meg was a pleasure to communicate with and check-in and check-out process was seamless.
The only downside we would note was the comfortability of the king mattress, which was quite dated. But overall, we would still give our long weekend stay 5-stars.
A wonderful ski trip with our family at the chalet. The place is super cute with a great view of the Highlands and close proximity to all the winter activities you want. Will definitely be back.
This was our second time staying at Meghan’s house and it was just as good as the first stay. We love the location that’s close to multiple ski hills and also fairly private. We appreciate the mid century modern design and the fact that our dog is welcome as well. Meghan is always responsive and allowed a late check out on our last day. We hope to be back!
We absolutely loved the care and attention to detail at the Chalet! The decor was off the charts and set such a fun mood for us all! Meg was so kind and went above and beyond! Beds were wonderfully comfortable and there were so many lovely areas to hang out and relax! Absolutely recommend!!!
Check your vibe at the door because this chalet is a WHOLE MOOD! How could you not love the coziness, intentional decor, and cabin feel the moment you walk step foot in it. We were here for a 6-person low-key bachelorette trip for my sister, and needless to say, we had the time of our lives. The theme was “last disco/retro camp” vibes and it fit perfectly and we used minimal decor.
Meg, the host, was super sweet and responsive to us! And she went out of her way to suggest local events happening in the Harbor Springs area.
If you’re into appreciating true vintage and the MCM era, you will love this place. Also, the view off the deck is incredible...so incredible my sister wants to literally elope there lol.
Meg, thank you for having us!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Harbor Springs at the Ski Chalet. The location of the Chalet is perfect for skiing either Nubs or the Highlands. Very comfortable and cozy house, with everything you may need. Meg always responded quickly with any messages we sent her. We definitely look forward to staying again.
*It is noted in the listing, but pay heed, there are 2 seperate staircases: be aware that you must be able to climb steep stairs.
I can honestly say, this is the most unique and charming vacation home we have ever stayed in. Photos do not do it justice! It was also comfortable, stocked with everything we needed and perfect for a family trip. We had teen boys that took over the basement space, 10 year old girls on the third floor and adults on the main floor. Everyone had their own space at the end of long ski days. We loved sitting by the fireplace looking through Megs awesome collection of coffee table books with a glass of wine after spending the day at Nubs. There was even a shuttle that allowed my son and his friends to travel to and from nubs without us needing to do it! They out ski us by hours and hours so it was nice to let them be independent.
Megs communication was awesome, the location was beyond ideal and this is a place not to be missed! My husband and I took our dog on a beautiful wooded hike. Kids even set down their devices for vintage games like sorry, Simon, rubix cubes etc at the end of the day. LOVE the Chalet and recommend it to anyone!!
It really is a chalet right out of a fairytale! Great location and so calming. We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back to visit! Owner is super sweet and had great communication! Have been recommending to everyone!
This place is a gem! So cute and unique and the most ideal location for accessing the fun around Mackinac and the northern LP. Wish we could have stayed longer. The chalet had all the comforts you needed for a short or long stay and Meg the host was super friendly and responsive. Will definitely be trying to book this place again.
Check in was super easy. Meg had all kinds of supplies ready and it was easy to just bring our stuff and start relaxing. It was nice that our dogs could come too. They had a great time and were exhausted after lol their play time in the big back yard
We throughly enjoyed our stay in this mid century modern chalet. Great location with easy access to Harbor Springs, Petoskey and the Boyne area. Great summer location and would be super for skiers in the winter. Overlooks Boyne Highlands and is in Nubs Nob backyard. Would definitely book again!
