It was SO cute on the outside with seating areas and the back yard was lovely the inside was clean with a cozy cottage feel the inside as a garden flowery decor I love nature so this was a perfect fit for me and my family overall 10 out of 10..
My family including my disabled cousin stayed at this property over the weekend and the accommodations were great. Easy access to the property and close to everything Hickory has to offer. I definitely recommend.
We rented this for the weekend for my son’s soccer tournament. This house was well maintain and comfortable for my family of 5. The location was perfect for getting to the fields and spending time exploring Hickory. Host was very communicative and helpful!
Mimzy’s Garden was a nice fit for us while in town for a nights stay. Every was neat and clean. This is an older home but everything was beautifully updated throughout. The decor was tastefully decorated. Our host did a super job adding nice touches to make our stay nice. She had snacks, waters, & coffee. This was so nice since we came in late. The beds slept very comfortably. I am would highly recommend!
Our family traveled to NC & rented a house instead of a hotel room. Although we were only there for a place to sleep, the home had everything you would need for an extended stay. The home is older but updated. I loved the simplicity & cleanliness of the inside of the home.
Everything was as expected—nice, clean, updated. We only stayed one night but would have gladly stayed a week. The pack and play was great to have. Plenty of towels and such a nice touch with the bottles of water and snacks. The house was nicely decorated with reliable appliances. Comfortable beds and nice shower. No complaints:)
We had a good time. Host was kind and responsive. We had to change dates and it was pain free. Property was clean, tidy and functional.
Everything worked. Beds were very comfortable. If I need a place of that size in future, I’ll surely consider this property.
We needed “a refuge from the storm” for a few days and Mimzy’s Garden was it. As soon as we walked in it gave off strong vibes of comfort and cleanliness. We had to cut our stay due to a family medical emergency in the devastated areas of Asheville/Waynesville NC. Please pray for those people who have lost everything including families, photos and tangible memories. Blessings to all.

Comfortable house and in a great area. Newer appliances, comfortable furniture and beds. Nice size yard. Friendly neighbors. Well stocked house with items one may need. No driveway but plenty of curb parking. Tree barrier behind backyard. TV’s in all three bedrooms. Clean property inside and out. Used same management company before and they are responsive and quick to address your needs.
I have stayed here twice and feel like its my home away from home. The house has been lovingly decorated and has everything I need for a comfortable stay. The house is always spotless, and the host always has tasty snacks and bottled water for us. It is so nice to have laundry facilities too. The location is so convenient to everything as I have to make many trips to shopping and to LRU. When I visit I am usually working remotely too and the internet works great. The host is very communicative and I always feel so welcome. I usually arrive after dark and the lights are always on for me!
Really loved this little home. The pictures do not do it justice. It is an older home with beautiful upgrades. There is a Tv in each room, Not shown in the pictures. The only negative is (or unlike) was the cobwebs on the outside of the windows. I wanted to open my curtains and view the yard but too many webs. But definitely understand it is spring and kind of out of control. Absolutely not one bug in the house. So that's just a suggestion for cleaning the window from the outside. All in all very beautiful home and we enjoyed every minute of it!! WE will be back.
The house was immaculate. Clean, updated, and nicely decorated. The lights were left on in case we were arriving later in the evening, which was a nice touch to those that do arrive after dark. The only suggestion that I would throw out is to have a "check out" expectation posted on the refrigerator or in an email to the renter. Most every rental we have experienced has that and it helps the renter know what is expected when it comes to the trash, and linens. Dishes should be understood to leave in the dishwasher cleaning/washing. I only suggest that so that people know what they have to do, or what is covered in the cleaning fee. Definitely a "10" out of "10".
