Our stay was medical related so we weren’t able to tour around much other than the Mayo system. Our experience was wonderful! The home is beautifully decorated inside with inclusion of every amenity or detail one may need. Our host has thought of everything for her guests to make their stay one to remember!! This house is located indecent proximity to Mayo Hospital. The walk in shower with the seat was perfect for me to help my DIL wash her hair after her procedure. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cookery. We had anything we needed. Nice little coffee bar stocked with coffee. We tried out the ping pong table, it’s been awhile since I played, but it was fun and we had lots of laughs. It’s a comfortable place to stay, I would stay again, if we had the need again. The host was great and provided all info needed and check in/out was smooth.

Rochester is my hometown but I have also lived in New York, Florida and Ohio. I have been staying in VRBO's for over twenty years. Some here in Rochester for Holiday stays, at various Minnesota Lakes for annual family Summer vacations, Winter getaways in Florida and California trips to visit Family as well as travels to Italy and Costa Rica. A couple years ago, semi retired, I moved back to Rochester and recently bought a ranch style, family house to host my own VRBO. I hope to use my vast experience as a guest to be great host.

Why they chose this property

I so enjoy traveling and love nature and outdoor recreation but also crave city culture, theater, shopping, art and fine dining. Family has always been a top priority. With that in mind, I chose a house in a great location that resembles what I look for when I'm traveling. Convenience, centrally located with easy access, family friendly and extra room.. My goal is to provide a comfortable , carefree, fun environment for folks visiting my hometown.

What makes this property unique

Aside from the convenient, family eccentric location, this roomy ranch style home has just three steps to enter the house with convenient First Floor living. A roomy, flowing layout creates a nice atmosphere of togetherness and/or solitude. The adjustable bed and TV in the master bedroom is a must for anyone in recovery who needs short term care and bedrest or just a great place to read or watch a movie before bed. The kitchen has most of anything you might need for cooking and dining and features all new appliances.
In the basement is a good ping pong table and a fun playroom for the kiddos. A quaint patio is great place to relax, enjoy the peaceful out doors or visit and play games.
