UNEVEN FLOORS:
Because of the home's historic nature, there are spots in the floor that are a little uneven. We have placed rugs over the problem spots.

Our home is pet friendly. We welcome up to two pets for an additional pet fee of $70. If you would like to bring more than two pets, please send me a message prior to booking.

DRIVE-IN MOVIE THEATER:
Our home is located next to the local drive-in movie theater. We have never had any complaints about noise or light from the theater. If there are cars lined up to get into the theater, just drive past and pull into the driveway. You do not have to wait in the traffic. Please see our great reviews or message me with any questions or concerns.

BOOKING BOTH PROPERTIES:
This home is a duplex with a shared driveway but no shared walls. Please message me If you need more space for a larger group and you're interested in renting out both properties.

Gather used towels
Take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Turn off AC and fireplace.
If you brought a dog, please clean up after them in the yard and home.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Keep pets off furniture- we have a white couch and light linens. Clean up after pets in the yard- inform me of any accidents inside.
Your reservation includes coverage for up to $300 of accidental damage. Damages must be disclosed to Toni before or upon check out.
Damage that exceeds $300 will be charged to the guest. The guest will be billed for intentional damages or damages due to negligence.

The owner has taken extra time to make sure you have everything you need or might have forgotten. Our group had grandparents to teenagers and dogs. We all enjoyed the amenities and had a great time. We will stay again if in the area.

Wow!!! We were impressed with this VRBO rental. The owner's attention to detail made us feel like we were at our own home! We had good communication with the owner, easy check in/check out process and lots of extras (toothbrush, hairspray, sunscreen, etc) that we normally don't see in a vacation rental. The beds were comfortable and everything was up to date. Also, there is a great outdoor area to enjoy. I would stay here again!!

Such a welcoming environment! The kids loved the candy, which was there with a Welcome note. We all enjoyed the various places, the fire pit, the BBQ, and everything else. We really enjoyed staying at this house. Nice rooms, comfy beds and a nice yard for the dog to spend some off lease time in. That is one of the harder things to find when vacationing and one of the main reasons we choose this house. Did not disappoint.

Wedding in Montrose

This was a nice property for a small group. We had 6 adults and a 2 year old and 4 month old. We had all the kitchen amenities so we were able to cook, and full laundry room was nice. Nice front yard to play yard games too. Very comfy!

The home was adorable; it was clean and had every thing we needed for a trip away from home. Close to town for when we needed something and close enough to the San Juan Mountains for our adventure. My husband and I and our 2 adult children were very comfortable in this location. Extremely clean, owner was very informative about check in process. We purchased this property in April 2021. We love our beautiful town and we are so excited to share this space with you as you explore Montrose and the surrounding areas. We look forward to providing you with any recommendations during your stay so that you can fall in love with Western Colorado as well!

What makes this property unique

We love our home's unique history. It was originally built in 1909 and has been remodeled with bright rooms and modern fixtures. We provide local Cimarron coffee, tea, cocoa, creamer, and sugar for your mornings. We provide games, books, streaming services and Nintendo Switch for those traveling with families. We provide a welcome basket for those traveling with dogs, including a soft blanket, pet towel, lint roller, dog bowls, waste bags, crates and treats. The fenced patio is a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee or an evening drink under the twinkle lights and next to the fire pit. Enjoy the fenced front yard in a lounge chair under the shade tree or play some corn hole in the grass. This home is great for travelers of all ages.
